Personally, I prefer the simplistic style of this method, especially because it goes through each step for an edu email in order, but I don't think a couple of pictures would hurt either.

On the method: This method is very similar to all the other edu email methods out there. They require a signup and some info to be put in, but this method uses a certain site that I have never heard of before. This method also ensures that you WILL be getting a private account, as everything is legit, and you activate the login through your own email too.

In all, this method will get you an edu email. It requires about 5 minutes of filling out time and anywhere from an hour - 12 hours of waiting for a confirmation, but you will be pleased with this method, as it simply does what it's supposed to do.

I got my copy as well, so here we go!

In the case of this guide, it is purely text, but it goes step by step (even through the more obvious things -- which is good, because it means it's COMPLETE, not just "fill out x, fill out y") through exactly what to do and how to set things up.

I've seen many methods for getting Edus (most of which have now gone defunct), but this one is vastly different. It's for a different site and the guide does have some tricks to help ensure the account is properly granted.

You do your own registration, your own confirmation, and then get your very own email, along with full control over it. It's a fairly simple process (especially with the guide) but having full control is the real key here: you can do anything you want with it, such as sign up to Edu-only sites, promos, whatever. And the guide also includes tricks on how to register multiple if desired, including details on how to go about that.

I will say that I have some fears about this becoming oversaturated and being locked down in the future (with the details giving the same general account setup for each person, it creates a pattern) but for the cost and what you're getting, and the fact it could live on forever, there's definitely value.

Today a guy needed an edu email forward and I was thinking to do it but suddently I saw that my edu account was disabled.
This because it was managed through google mail and I should contact the administrator, so your edu email (your method) is through gmail or different?
