buy on news sell on hype.
All this attention makes me feel strange...
That being said, this is nice.

The cost of mediation increases transaction costs, limiting the
minimum practical transaction size and cutting off the possibility for small casual transactions

He is either the most relaxed dude in the world (look at his eyes... they are nearly shut the whole time) or high as fuck. Or both.

I don't get the exact words on his last answer. "There is the misconception that just because Bitcoin is ______ it is anonymous. BTC is not anonymous, it is ________".

Can anyone fill in the blanks? Thanks. Anyway, great interview, especially this last bit about Bitcoin being little obstacle in prosecuting financial crimes.

I guessed it was pseudonymous?

I believe he was saying "pseudononymous" meaning that you can track all the transactions but there aren't names and identities directly attached to them.

This man is great.  He does something I couldn't do; if it were me on that show, the first thing I'd want to do is punch her in the face through the screen.  The only points she brings up are how she can run it through the ground--presumably, because she's being paid to discredit Bitcoin, because the dollar is just oh so superior to anything and everything, right?  "Oh, it's virtual, but don't worry that most money in circulation is also virtual, I just want to point out that Bitcoin isn't real and doesn't exist in real life."  Yeah, okay.

Hats off to him, anyway.  He's calm and concise, and that's the perfect image for a user of Bitcoin.

I don't think she was trying to discredit Bitcoin. To me it sounds like the questions had been arranged so that Trace had a direct way to explain Bitcoin when answering, thus making the interview more fluid.
