poor eth, it is hard time for eth now. but every hardfork makes etherium stronger, so dont panic. I hold my eth for better time.

But what is better time? When Eth goes to Pos? Will we ever see over 100 dollars for 1 Eth?

ETH is not the shadow of BTC but an alternative.

USD is commonly used for international trade but we have EUR, AUSD and YEN as alternatives.Sometimes the interest rate, sometimes locality provides extra benefits. It is better to have options...

I don't see why that is impossible. If Bitcoin can have a $10+Bn market cap, ethereum can grow to that level too.
We might see 100 dollars for 1 ETH sooner than you think.

I don't think that will happen in a foreseeable future. ETH just don't have potential to beat bitcoin, not now, not yet. Maybe in the distant future.

We are on a good way to break $10 level. In the last 24h Ethereum's price gained almost 4% and Ethereum Classic almost 10%. Is it coordinated ETH pump?

It depends on the new money flowing into digital coins. If the amount is limited, when the bitcoin move to $2000, the Ethereum will be $2.

There is nothing out there to make the value Ethereum above $1 after four hard forks and there is still problem with the platform, it is just the work of some people trying to defend their speculative wealth.

The correct statement, $1B of chain fail.

Bagholder was feeling panic, fork will always strike every time.

Actually I'm not very happy about this developement.
I think that bitcoin needs at least a little bit of competition, and I thought as well that ETH could give that.
The way it looks now, after all those forks of ETH, is that bitcoin is heading towards 90% of the whole crypto market capitalization.
I wonder if that is really a good thing for bitcoin.

Market cap is now down to $700m and price down to $8.10, the phrase 'rats leaving a sinking ship' comes to mind. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a resurgence in the coin if the BTC price drops again. I didn't buy any ETH before but might pick a few up on the way down.

Ethereum was a scam from the early beginning imo.
And now after all those months of hype and self celebration it looks like reality is coming back.
When you look at the chart this looks really ugly.Shorters are having lots of fun.I would guess mroe and more of the devs already have cashed out or are doing it right now.

The devs may have come up with a good method to make themselves rich at the launch of the coin,
but I still wouldn't call it a "scam".

The ETH dev team is working with other companies and other projects like Augur, and they are coming up with some really cool ideas.
It would definitely be a much better play to increase the uses for this coin and cause a big increase in price, rather than dump your coins right now.
(If you work for the company and own a lot of coins.)
The project still has so much potential, there would be no reason to abandon it right now.

When the Ethereum was launched, the price was much lower. I think they deserve the reward as they worked for it.

Yes depand in ETH price was launched much lower then current price, but no wonder people who buy ETH when the price is 0.038BTC/ETH, maybe we can remember when DAO ico, ETH price go high and down when DAO get hacked, terrible moment

ETH should be fine after the HF fixes ?!?

Oh man, those "fixes". They would be better off firing vitalik.

again some hardforks, when is it planned and what is the reason?

http://www.newsbtc.com/2016/11/18/fourth-ethereum-hard-fork-called-spurious-dragon/

The price will probalby rise again after the fourth fork. If not then after the fifth one  Grin

ETH is just going down by fork after fork. Lets see what this fork will do. Everything got ruined by THE DAO Hacking. Will ETH ever reach its ATH........

After the hard fork solve the problems, the price could rise again. It is possible the whales are accumulating.
