You're definitely not a newbie here, so you ought to realize that 1) You should fill out a scam accusation form, and 2) You need to provide good evidence of being scammed so that DT members can swoop in with the red paint.

It always sets off alarm bells when people keep bringing up "personal family issues" when a repayment is coming up shortly. Only because plenty of scammers in the past have used that as a smoke screen to disappear when the money is due. I am sorry if your family is having difficulties, but you entered a business transaction - not a personal one.

Its a buy-in into the project not an investment so theres no amount due. The launch of the project we both are working on is delayed due to personal issues. OP has been updated. Also i know there's a loan nearing due which i took out in the first place to finish up this project. There wont be an issue rest assured.
