but what ever, the SU flies... and those motors must pack more punch that the little exhaust of the f22... and if PLAoC opted too for the same type... I think the answer of the first question become evident  Roll Eyes.

edit: f22 is a wuss model  Grin

In fact the f22 is designed for occupation. not war, real one, the way it's done.

Look at the pic, the Su-T 50 looks rough with a lot of weld lines on its surface. Who wins? I would vote for Raptor, the F22A should still be the world 1st fighter, even the brand new Chinese fighter J-20 can't beat her.

What do you mean by weld lines? I find this plan very smooth...

However I think that due to "stealth" too many compromises had to be made... and not for an optimal result.

But it's true that the marketing name (raptor) is second to none... but what's the point.... it's only a plane... and we all know how it ended for the raptors  Tongue

speed really? with his little exhausts? price has nothing to do with quality only quantity!

The Russians are just trying to create a 5th generation fighter, and you're asking who will win. SU has not even passed the test. He even J20 will not win.

I am not 100% sure about this. In the 1990s, the Russian defence sector faced an acute cash crunch, and it affected the R&D. They came back strongly in the last decade or so, but I am not sure whether the Russian technology is capable of matching that of the United States. But as of now, the American technological advance has stagnated, while the Russians are innovating.

digitalization was just beginning. I am not sure that with the same materials the f22 would be the same if designed today.

anyway the SU motors make me think of this one :

when playing ADF

from my personal virtual experience playing :

I was always afraid of the mig 29... but the su 27... if I didn't lock it first it was often going bad... and then the f22 behave slowly... a litte fat. not aggressive enough to my taste.

but who knows. let's hope not to have to find out... IRL.

I don't know the characteristics of the SU T 50, but it looks Istrebiteli the 4+ generation. If so, then he's not much of a chance against f-22. And generally than to compete in the better weapons would be invented as oil to decline.
