Just read in a news portal that he is going to immediately deport some 3 million illegal aliens, who have criminal record. That is good. He is honoring his campaign promises by deporting these criminals.
Problem is lousy due process...some of these are 20 plus years old and criminal record is from the countries they came from...some countries like Cuba Immigration Castro said
all were criminals that skip ..including major league baseball players same with a lot of South American Dictatorships)....w/o due process how do you tell if the crimes are legit ..at least for those w/o issue last 20-30 years when perhaps the people/gov't claiming stuff were corrupt and now defunct?
From non controversial countries and such Democracies you could make your case about such backgrounds...but the lack of a REVIEW....due to money/manpower/etc of 3 Million means a lot of folk are gonna get swept up in this and go back to places that with a review would likely be allowed to stay ...even legit under Trump Administration

USA from that ..at least from China's point of view...catch is to review all these folk would take years..so expect to see a lot of news on lot of American Kids going home with parents being
depoted....the process ..if it happens will have to be a lot better then what I've been told or it is gonna be a catastrophic PR and moral failure in the word's eyes imho

Yeah political views aside. Obama had a 60% plus behind him at the start of his term. You have at least 40% dead set against Trump at this point in time.
The real issue is it 'just' gonna be 'wealth transfer' ..ie gut social/environmental/safety/education and other thing Republican's see as excess without a Republican
version to replace some of that. The problem with the Senate and the House as an example they were All For bailing the banks out in case of a Depression..but when
they were told to bail out the home owners effected for good economic reasons (It would act as a boat anchor on economy for 10 years) they passed. (This is
from the guy Bush put in Charge in his Book after the fact..a Republican)
So will the Republican's step up and replace the 'even in their view' limited things they plan to scrap ..or will they go ...these folk are not Republicans so it don't matter.

If so you are gonna get the below back and forth w/o any clear direction up to the year 2020 imho.
I just can't see them getting a 'coalition' of folk on the Right that will play this fair and square even with their own plans....w/o a lot of pain on those w/o those views.
Which....short term may work dandy...long term ...er not so much ..again imho. Too many folk would not benifit from this and not on board if they muck this up.
So anyway we could get the below unless they really DO bring everyone on board as they say Left/Middle/Right or it will just be take from 1 camp and give to another camp.
I Win All/You Lose All. Never works in the long term too well. In Democratic Socities at least. A certain balance should be met in the middle. I see no on in either camp claiming the middle.
So we get the below wiggle/waggle if the current WE HAVE IT ALL coalition of Republican just scrap all and build nothing to replace. Again just a big wealth transfer society wise.
Then you'd have the 40% currently disatisfied flash up to 60% and it would imho flip too far in the other direction...with the same problems I mention above now.
Anyway they say the democrats need to change. Well the Republican's should also not go back to 'trickle down economics' for the few as a strategy....or that also will backfire imho.
flip/flop/flip is a heck of a way to run the country going forward....someone or some party better find the middle someplace along this journey....or we are really gonna muck the works.
