So, I got 5 of them in last week. They are a bit finicky and I am looking to collaborate with others to see if I can work out the bugs.

They Actually work really well, I am clocking about 280 Mh/s for each one of the 5 pairs (10 units total), and that's without overclocking or adjusting core voltages. and i have already made 48 LTC off these things in the past 5 days. it just seems that sometimes one of the units will drop a core off and forget about it. a quick Stop/Restart of the miner seems to do the trick but it is just kind of annoying to have to watch them so closely. any thoughts?

I purchased them direct from innosilicon. I was able to get in their initial release round, but i had to purchase 5 upfront. they won't sell individual units yet. if someone is interested though I would be willing to sell up to 3 of mine individually. 2 x 140Mh/s units work in tandem with a raspberry pi controller.

Each would consist of

2 x Innosilicon A4 Terminators (140Mh/s each)
1 x Raspberry Pi Controller
1 x 1200 Watt EVGA 1200 P2 Platinum power supply
1 x SD card with Innosilicon's OS preloaded on it
1 x USB stick with a copy of the image to reflash the OS if needed
1 x better english user manual than the crappy one they sent me, written by yours truly complete with pictures and screenshots. Ill throw it on the USB drive.
1 x 7 foot Cat6 Ethernet cable
2 x power cables

This kit is a Turn-key setup, ready to run out of the box. $2800 for the whole kit. shipping is uncluded and ships within 24 hours through UPS with confirmation number sent to you via PM or Email if provided. I accept bitcoin, litecoin, dogecoin or paypal. Other forms of payment considered on a case by case situation. I will be making an amazon listing tomorrow but the price will be a little higher to account for amazon's fees and what not.

well the 136Mh/s A4 is basically only half the puzzle, mine consists of two units with one control box so they work in tandem. the control box can connect to up to 3 of the units max. also consider that the ebay seller doesn't include a power supply. so the 1400 only includes the 1 x 140Mh/s unit and a raspberry pi control box. so basically i am selling two of the units like his and including a power supply and extras for free. I am able to do a better price because i purchased in bulk from the manufacturer. these are in my possession right now and tested prior to sending them out as well as tweaking the cpu voltage for optimum performance, as each one is picky about the voltage and vary slightly.

as far as the 400 less, again they still aren't including the power supply. which for a good one can run you quite a bit of money. I chose the ones I did because of the high power consumption efficiency rating and the 10 year manufacturers warranty. my selling point is that its a complete, turnkey kit. Im honest and I have made sure they all work as advertised. i don't know what their procedures are but i am guessing that they just ship you the ones straight from the factory, still in box, unopened. Again, I don't know. but I'd be willing to match their price item for item. $2450 for 2-miners & 1-control box with 4 connecting wires to go between control box and the 4 blades housed in the 2 units.

i guess i can buy a used Power supply for 30 bucks or less that will work and break out board are not that hard to get and don't cost much you can get a few cheaper with cables  some place else but yea i guess the cost of one with cables might be or little less then what they offer on ebay.again I'm not trying to make you look bad I just notice those things .

side hack has a nice breakout board that would do it and fits two different sized or maybe more Server PSU those two PSU can power one 280 MH or use the other PSU it can power one 136 mH miner, i have the  board it does work on both server PSU or have two of them . . I'm broke right now or i might try to buy one of the 136 MH miner and replace my 146 mh miner only because of the power use age getting that 136 MH is worth losing 10 MH ,  i put that to gather with some Alchemist boards . again no offense is intended.

No worries, or hard feelings. I love to tinker with stuff and find good deals probably more than the next guy, which is why im willing to match their price, because I am sure there are other's out their with their own equipment (PSU's, cables, etc.) already. but, i have spent a lot of time researching and tinkering with these before and after puchasing them. I also know that not everyone has the time or the know how but maybe wants to get into the cryptocurrency mining scene, that's why i decided to make and sell the kit. I hope that answers your questions.

Cheers.

these things are ridiculously efficient when it comes to power consumption, and where i live power is an obscenely low price, 0.079 cents per Watt hour. so to run all 5 of these things, balls out it only costs me about 80 to 90 bucks a month increase on my power bill and that includes my server and firewall router, and room cooling system i am building since they do manage to pump out a lot of heat between them. on the plus side, i don't think i'll need to run my heater anymore.....on the negative side, it get effing hot in my house now running all these buggers round the clock lol. even with windows open, it's about 23 celcius in here. but it's worth it, over the last 4 days since i got them all up and running i am averaging 12.5 LTC a day.

yea i know mines about a the same power cost i could run one all day long forever at 520 or 540 wats for the 136MH over my 146 mh one that uses double that . and also i could or can keep using my other one but  use three boards which would put me at 225 MH at the power cost off all six boards and save on the cost of a 280 MH for the time being . owell no cash in time i plan to get a few . and keep the older one speed is speed and the Differently is not to bad i don't see that going high to fast . like btc . Don't forget alt coins seem to scale different because there is so many of them and one BTC .

Low but not obscenely low. When I was in Iowa I was paying a bit less than that 9 months out of the year, 14ish the other 3 summer months, and I moved 1800ish miles cross-country because I classed the overall power rate as too high - I'm under 5c/kwh now and looking to move in the next few months to one of the adjacent counties where I can get under 3c

Even now my power bill runs about $400/month - but that's a lot more than a few A4 units mining away (you're making more in LTC than I am, but I'm making a LOT more in other coins and overall).

WOW!!! that is low. I am tennessee where we have TVA and their hydroelectric power generations. it's by far way cheaper than any of the other nearby areas here on the east coast. in atlanta its like 14 to 17 cents during peak power times. and 12 off peak hours. but the main advantage to chattanooga, TN is that we have gigabit internet to all the residential houses over fiber optic, only 70bucks a month. and for 200/month you can get 10gb/s internet. since i do online day trading as my primary source of income this is awesome speeds. fastest in the US and as far as i can tell about 3rd fastest in the world. blows my mind. Litecoin mining is the only one i do as of right now, im not sure if ill get into any of the others. should take me about 5 to 6 months to see a breakeven ROI for the setup i have. so far I am well on track for that, maybe even sooner.

We don't have gigabit, but the local PUD does have a fiber-optic network and we have 100Megabit access, runs more like $50.
I suspect they COULD set up to do gigabit but just haven't bothered.

The other two adjacent counties (with the under 3c rates) have similar setups - and all 3 counties are bug into hydropower so that the PUDs can subsidise local rates by sellling off the excess output at quite a bit higher rates to larger utilities elsewhere (like Sea/Tac and some even into California).
