Bias and motivation:  

I win bets there and make BTC.  I like it so much I even own some shares of the company (had to re-appropriate funds for other ventures).  Also, I'll be using reflinks and hopefully you'll use them so my time is well spent updating this list.  Now that's out of the way, what are some of the more interesting bets?

Some Tips and Tricks:

1.  Early bets get heavier 'weight', meaning more of the winnings go to you than later bets.
2.  Make sure the return BTC address can receive BTC..  Avoid MtGox, use a hot wallet with not too much BTC in it.
3.  Hedge your bets -- if you're betting on the price of BTC, maybe buy some puts or calls in the opposite direction on CoinBr
4.  Never bet more than you are willing to lose.
5.  Don't bet on closed or very nearly closing bets -->  your BTC will be considered a donation if not in before closing time.
6.  Have fun and make BTC!

BFL will stop giving refunds on Bitforce SC ASIC pre-orders before July 2013

"So far, BFL has said that all pre-order sales on Bitforce SC ASIC products are final. However, so far they have also apparently given a refund freely to any customer who requested one. Bet is true if on July 1 2013 at 00:00 GMT 5 or more bitcointalk.org forum members have one week or older posts saying that they have requested a refund, and have not received one for 2 weeks or more (prior to posting), and are still waiting, and BFL fails to show proof to the contrary. Bet is also true if on July 1 2013 at 00:00 GMT, 5 or more bitcointalk forum members have posted saying that BFL flat out denied their refund request, and BFL fails to show proof to the contrary. Bet is also true if before July 1 2013 at 00:00 GMT, BFL issues a statement that no more of the sort of refunds mentioned in the first paragraph will be given. BFL paying BTC refunds at the then-current fiat exchange rate does not make the bet true."
