What would the credibility of the article be, if the winner is anonymous? A lot of these "Big Wins" are possibly fake or even casino owners own friends or family or employees winning these jackpots. If you want to attract a lot of attention, you just fake jackpot winners and you will get a lot of gambler flocking your way. Most Bitcoin gamblers will stay anonymous, because they do not declare their winnings for tax purposes. The other problem is, money attract bad attention... if you are identified as someone who won lots of money, hackers with bad intentions will target you. The big wins on BetKing, Bitdice etc. are quite guaranteed to be real because the sites are funded by investments from users (especially when those "big winners" often ended up losing a lot). The owner wouldn't go that far to fake big winners. Can't be that sure on sites with no investments. I'm quite certain wins on BTCvideocasino are real too though.

Well it is good that some casino shows the profile of the gambler to the public. So in this way, when there is a big win, we can check the profile of the winner. There is a lot of cases whereby the winner got like 30 over btc. However, when we look at the profile, he has either lose a lot in the first place or he is just betting big and it is a one time off.

The problem with these "LARGEST WINNERS" is that most are usually sometimes publicity attempts to make the site gain popularity. Most of these betters never come public and its impossible to know whether its the admit betting or an actual gambler.
You do realize that if it was found out that Moneypot's admins rigged the Dust Lottery hit, or that SafeDice's owners rigged the 128 BTC hit, or other crowdfunded large wins were rigged to win by the admins, 99% of investors would divest, right? Their entire business would be screwed and their long term profit site just died because the owner wanted some short term profit and advertising? Here is a list of BIG wins that took place on www.bitcoinbetting.website, a blockchain based gambling game offering 0% house edge... Seems to be more advertising your site than actually caring about this. Also, 1 BTC wins pretty much happen every day at large sites so it isn't impressive. bitcoinvideocasino wins are almost certainly faked. Look at their biggest winner tabs. If anyone believes that they are paying out thousands of Bitcoin a year just off slot jackpots you probably believe that BetSoft also pays out massive slot jackpots (i.e. high chance you don't actually gamble and are in a signature campaign). For the largest Bitcoin wins, Bet King will certainly have the largest plays. The only other site that used to have bets of those size (hundreds of Bitcoin at a time) was Just-Dice, which hasn't accepted Bitcoin bets in sometime. SafeDice had one big win wipe out their entire bankroll, and MoneyPot has had several large winners over the past year. BitDice to my knowledge has not had any big winners (though they have had big losers) for a long time. I don't follow Crypto-Games that much but they recently had a big ETH winner.

There was an user who won 500+ on Bitdice in 2015. Also it's an interesting point what you said about bitcoinvideocasino. The wins there seem to be quite large and now that I think of it I'm starting to question it a bit too. Would love to see some further proof. Investment based sites are and have to be so much more transparent which makes stuff easier to believe.

Honestly many members here are posting a fake image that they get or win a large amount but the fact its fake.. chelasin is one of the fake winner this year.. i really don't believe if there is no proof like txid but sometimes txid can be still fake because we have transaction in blockchain publicity. so i think he can get some transaction there and editing his the page from developer mode many people are doing it here..

The OP is asking for the biggest winners of 2016 And I would be willing to bet a significant sum that the jackpots on bitcoinvideocasino are won by themselves as a way to promote their site. They are one of the smaller sites out there (usually ~10 players online at any given time betting pretty insignificant amounts), yet they claim to be paying out amounts that no one in the industry pays out on a single bet. Its ludicrous.

Yeah I a little bit curious on bitcoinvideocasino, everytime someone won a jackpot it's always come from a newbie member Which it's make more fishy, everytime the winner try to confirm their winning through their thread Not recommended to be listed for now I remember someone bet hundreds ethereum on ufc and football event at directbet a couple months ago, will post here later. @rizkyhiw. Yes I remember that too! He kept on bragging how scared most people are here because we bet too little. If you study his bets most of them are big amounts in big favorites. But where is he now? Is he still winning? If he is then why did he go away? I would speculate that he also made a big bet on Hillary Clinton.
I also want to suggest that maybe doing a 2016 list of biggest winners in sportsbetting is also good. This will show who the best is at analyzing sports.

I haven't looked into them before, as they don't seem to be very popular, but what your saying seems to be right. My post was mostly on crowdfunded casinos though, since people are more likely to care and want to make sure that things weren't rigged. The MoneyPot thread had a bunch of people asking to verify NotTardy's win. (i.e. high chance you don't actually gamble and are in a signature campaign).
Not sure if that directed at me, but I do gamble though I am in a sig campaign.

What matters is the level of confidence in betting for that match and amount of stake one is willing to put.
