haven't used it, but there are other VPN alternatives that look much better IMO

Nope,I use Opera VPN.It's integrated into the browser.

I saw articles about it. They were saying it was just a glorified proxy and wasn't a true VPN. How's your experience with it? I use Opera VPN for android, the standalone app. It's excellent.
