This populism has to stop. When did we reject the notion of goodwill to our neighbors? While I agree the security of a nation should be it's foremost priority, at what point do we stop looking out for ourselves and start helping those around as that have less, in order to advance the whole? 

We don't and can't exist in a vacuum. We barely produce the products we consume. We can take this isolationist stance, and the majority seems to support it, but I will go on record as saying I think it will end badly. Far be it from me to reject the will of the people. But when this goes south, I want the parties responsible to eat 100 percent of the blame.

At no point do you even attempt to prove "racial" point to NATO (what would that make of mullato Obama, many jewish mods or participation of MUSLIM Turkey, I have no idea), only babbling about something that can only be described as "euro-devil is keeping mah America down". Well, NATO was started by american administration in the first place. To galvanize euro-american partnership, counter communism and yes, even to solidify dominant position of United States as a leader of the West.

Withdrawal of the United States would end the pact obviously, as it is the US administration that directs (and obviously also largely pays) the circus.

Nationalism is completely natural, in fact correct way to protect depleting resources in very competetive environment such as "global community". The thing here is, that OP doesnt know what he is talking about. NATO more often than not acted as white horse, a shield, that protected good prestige of US citizens in very questionable conflicts around the world. It is helping interests of US elites (so fucking what, if poor white trash or brown people from Alabama die in service, we are talking big money), which is precisely why United States founded and keeps funding NATO seven decades on.

I would not accuse NATO of racism. The military bloc very often is to protect the Muslims. It seems to me that lately a lot of attention is paid to racial issues. It's not so much contributing to the fight against racism much the opposite incites racism.

That has been the policy of NATO ever since its foundation. The NATO is an alliance of Sunni Muslims and Catholics, against the Orthodox Christians. This is very evident from their military involvements in Kosovo, Macedonia, and Bosnia.
