What is your preferred way to convert minings to BTC and then to USD?
I've seen alot of websites but I'm afraid some maybe scams.
Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance and I appologize if this is posted elsewhere - I was unable to find any relevant information.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Mine altcoins, exchange to BTC, and sell on localbitcoins or Coinbase.

For the beginner, you can use NiceHash. You basically supply a BTC address, which to save a further step you can use your Coinbase BTC wallet address. Then you point your miners to their website.

You can mine with the Ethash (Ethereum) or or Equihash (Zcash) algorithms which are currently the most profitable, but they will pay out directly in BTC to your Coinbase wallet, which you can then sell for USD. While they may not be the best way to squeeze out the absolute most profit, it is pretty streamlined and saves a few steps along the way.

Once you are more advanced you can mine alts directly and try to sell them on an exchange for a bit more profit if you can time it right.

mine coins-> Poloniex -> Coinbase

You will have to supply personal info on coinbase to use them, they are basically a bank for bitcoin.

I hope this doesn't sound like an ad but I personally use some trusted bot exchangers on gambling sites that operate on the big4 coins and another operating with 8 coins.

The former uses poloniex rates, has zero fees and is instant. So I withdraw my alts to my site wallet account, use the bot to exchange and withdraw to wallet. Fee is flat or zero even and no kyc needed.
