Where can I get my first XRPs

This is my first post.
I'm in bitcoins since more than 2 years.
Now i'm starting to learn about ripples.

Where can i get my first XRPs?
Some hints?

Would the ripple forums (https://ripple.com/forum/) be a good starting point?

That being said, just asking around on bitcointalk or IRC may give you a friendly soul who gives you some.
I am sure that soonish exchanges will pop up.
