On withdrawals, yes. You can sell all your BTC at once, and then withdraw $1000 every day for a long long time. Maybe there's a monthly limit as well? If you verify your account, the limit is higher.

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/MtGox"MtGox imposes a $1,000 USD limit for withdrawals per 24 hours and a $10,000 USD limit for withdrawals per month with most non-verified accounts. Bitcoins withdrawn are counted toward this limit as well and the USD value is calculated at the market rate at the time of the attempted withdrawal. Customers that have been Verified have higher limits and customers that have Trusted status have limits even higher[8]. Any account-to-account transfers made also count toward this limit as well. Requests for higher withdrawal limits may be submitted by email For higher limits for withdrawal of USD funds, email: aml@mtgox.comFor higher limits for withdrawal of BTC funds, email: btcupd@mtgox.com" Good luck

I would get on a plane and fly to you and we could both walk into a local branch of my CHASE bank and we can get this deal done in an hour or so. The rate would be at $113.60 USD. Where are you located?

Mtgox if you want the highest dollar value.
Actually at the moment if you sell 10,000 BTC at market price then you would get down to $133 per BTC which actually is not that bad and it would happen instantly.

If I had 10k btc I wanted to cash out, I would post an offer to sell it in exchange for a wire transfer. I'd offer a notarized agreement to deliver and to use an escrow of the buyer's choice.
This method works. Done it in the past (when 10k btc was worth much less).

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable. I never believe them. If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins. I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion. Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice. Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

You can use a verified highest level Mtgox with a big daily limit (you need to attach some documents but that shouldn't be a problem) after that you can withdraw the rest by bitinstant through there multiple methods.
