I believe that twitter campaign is not as effective as the signature campaign because Twitter is full of fake, bot accounts and it is hard to find a person who has many real followers related to bitcoin gambling. Anyway, if you are the good manager who knows how to maintain the campaign, it will be easy to advertise your site to everyone

Signature campaigns mostly are not that effective either. Most services that starts signature campaign don't get as much as a good result unless the service is really interesting for people to click it and check what it is that they can see in the sig ad.
Twitter campaign and facebook campaign can be effective same as signature if you will  manage it properly.

Who knows if you dont try? but I think it will depend on the participants, if the twitter account has many followers that related to gambling then it would be effective. But if the followers are just common people in daily life who do not even know about gambling and bitcoin then it would not be effective.

It may give some impact however i don't think it will boost any user base. It May be only enough to get your platform name and hashtag spread around twitter for better exposure in search engine and social medias. I think signature campaigns are more effective than twitter campaigns.

Social media campaigns will not guarantee to target crypto currency users but signature campaign here will definitely get a services familiar to more number of crypto currency users.

Both of you are partially right and wrong.

1. It is true that twitter are full of fake users, bot controlled account and useless spam no one ever reads. But twitter audit is good tool to verify that.
2. If service is not good, not interesting or is a simply copy of some other, well established service i.e. another Dice site then promotion of such service won't be effective no matter what, in the first place.

I think that both Twitter other social media as well as signature campaigns can be good marketing tool.
The best way is to use them all, because by doing so you will target different groups of users.

To me twitter campaign could be effective if only its consistent because for someone following a lot if people within minutes you get so many new twerts which means any latest tweet leaves the first page as soon as possible and I might not even see it but if its just to create awareness, then its a very effective means...

It depends what you are wanting to advertise with the tweet. I tried some attempts to buy tweets on Bitcoin related accounts to promote a Bitcoin online casino. When I promoted just a usual text about the gambling site then there were zero leads. When I promoted a special offer - it was 20 free spins when I remember correctly - then I got a couple of leads but they were not active for a long time. So, it could be worth to advertise special free offers with tweets.

The effectivity of a twitter campaign depends on several factors, the campaign manager and his rules, the advertised service, and the targeted audience, in regards to crypto related twitter campaigns, unfortunately there is no service to discover how many crypto related people follow a twitter account, so the targeted audience might not be the right one, and it is very hard to check all accounts manually.
you may find a twitter account which gained more than 500 followers in one week, they follow hundreds of accounts without investigating, just to get some follow backs.

That is why a lot of the Twitter campaign are making the rules about the twitter audit, for preventing the Twitter account has had a lot of the fake followers.
Even not all of the followers in Twitter was relating to the crypto users and especially about gambling.

I think it worth for sure. It's a nice way to advertise your site/brand, it's cheap for the advertisor also (there is a campaign paying 5 satoshis per follower on twitter). You can get the publicity you want, make your link appear on hashtags you want.

I suggest you to run a campaign for about 1 week, see the results and think if it worth or not.

i think it depends.
for example if you have a twitter account yourself for your own business and have real followers that are following you because you are a gambling service then tweeting helps. also if you can find people with twitters that are gambling or bitcoin related it can also help because the followers are seeing what they like not a random thing.

This is the point, I need to agree with. A promotion must be very much intensive so that it will cover all type of people so that they could get decent amount of customers from our promotions.

I do see many gambling owners are constantly running youtube/blog campaigns too along with above campaigns. So, having a very big budget initially must be inevitable for promotions for any business.

all businesses are like this, and advertising is not only limited to online and bitcoin promotions. it needs to be widespread and consistent. i see so many of these newbie businesses (mostly gambling sites) that advertise for a short time and then stop! some of them say advertisement didn't generate traffic for us!!!

advertising is not only to get traffic or players it is also for brand recognition.

think about it, if you ask someone who has been on the forum for a couple of years about a bitcoin mixer they will say the first thing that comes to their mind "bitmixer" because they have been advertising for years consistently.
