WOW. Speedy Update: BitMit customer service just refunded my payment and resolved the issue promptly. They also said that they have banned this guy from their service. Unfortunately, the negative feedback is still there. I'd say this was just shy of an A+ response to my issue. Having been on both the buy and sell side, I would definitely recommend BitMit for both buyers and sellers. And that 2% fee sure beats eBay.

Update:
Buyer created a fake account just to leave me negative feedback: https://www.bitmit.net/en/user/DinamicAtom
Guess I'll have to scrap that account and start fresh somewhere else.
Best part is how the original account left negative feedback to his feedback abuse account.

Last Update:
Admins were able to delete the feedback that the abusive user left me. All is well in BitMit Land.

-----------------------------
Long story short, I wanted to diversify and get some LTCs, and thought I had found a nice deal.
WRONG.
What follows is the a tale of a dishonest, then lying, then abusive seller (TL;DR below):
Part 1:

Part 2:

(will update with more developments)

TL;DR:
* I ask seller to send the LTCs, he asks to go out of escrow
* I say no way, then he says that we'll cancel the transaction
* I give him a chance to send the coins back, but instead he leaves a lie of negative feedback
* I confront him and request my coins back. He declines and posts some random transaction
* I point out repeatedly that nothing has arrived at my Litecoin address, and his "proof" is just some random 20LTC transaction

I thought maybe he didn't want to send them because I bought them at a good rate, and he was looking for essentially a free Call option on the LTC:BTC rate, but instead he goes full scammer.

What I've done: contacted abuse@ as well as the founder of Bitmit here on BTC.

If you've seen my selling thread here, I've honestly and speedily sent two items here (even w/o escrow), and I've also sold on Bitmit to a very happy buyer. I had perfect feedback everywhere, because I'm a straight shooter when it comes to business (apparently I'm a lot less direct when it comes to love *shrugs*)
