Isn't that enough to be a reason why you shouldn't dealt with him? You could've asked for someome to escrow the transaction.

And there are over 10 negative feedbacks left to him by various users.
This may be harsh but when people don't even bother to check or read the feedbacks or even directly ignores it, well, it's their money. It's not like "scams" are unheard of.

Up to you what you do with your money but stop feeding these scammers. It's enabling them.

Next time check the untrusted feedback. Or better yet use your common sense. Like omg just look at the terrible trust. That's what the trust system is for. Use it.
