ISIS fighters in Iraq are resorting to desperate and deadly defensive measures to hinder the Iraqi forces that are moving closer into their stronghold in the city of Mosul. The terrorists are now using dogs in place of humans as suicide bombers.

According to Inquisitr, Fahmi Abbas, an officer from the Iraqi Armored Units, said Isis operatives are strapping dogs with suicide vest before sending them to locations where Iraqi forces are stationed and then blow them up by remote control.


 
By using the animals as suicide bombers, ISIS retains its human soldiers to be used in more important attacks throughout the region.

The Sun notes that the new cowardly strategy by ISIS has been futile since the doomed canines were hit by Iraqi heat-seeking missiles before they reach their targets.

In the statistics released by the Iraqi Army, during the 19 days of the operation to retake the city of Mosul from the control of ISIS, more than 100 suicide bombing attacks have been recorded, although it is not clear how many of those were human or canine.

Abbas said the Iraqi Army is aware of the desperate tactics used by ISIS and are on the lookout for anything unusual among the stray dogs in Mosul.

The military official also said that they are expecting that the terrorists might use other animals for suicide bombing attacks.

suppose that this not suicidal bombing as it is not their own choice but this is disturbing enough , isn't it ? they are using this poor animals that is not aware of what's happening or what are those terrorist putting to their body and what will happen to them soon . as a pet lover this is very disturbing for me . why they(ISIS) are not doing it on the way they used to do it before .

okay let's suppose that this is just a fake news if that so then it will be great but for me it seems real . by the way i don't think that it can't be possible because dogs are once used by the soviets as exploding anti-tank dogs during the world war II and they are the are the first union to use dogs to this type of tactics .

I have a dog and I play with him a lot in my spare time. if you throw something for the dog to take, it brings it back. If indeed the people of the Isis think of adopting this cruel and condemnable strategy, you can be sure that more days or less days these dogs will show the hiding place of the isis.

At least by using dogs, they are sparing the women and children. Anyway... the end seems to be very near. As per the latest reports, the Kurdish Peshmerga is just 20 km away from Raqqa. Mosul is about to fall, and if Raqqa falls as well, the ISIS will be left without any major cities. And I don't think they will survive for long in the Syrian desert.

I don't understand how did you come to the conclusion that the USA and Russia "fighting against each other" when actually they both are fighting ISIS there? Russia is fighting ISIS in Syria and the USA in Iraq. I know there are many other forces involved, including Iran for example, but this is now irrelevant. What I mean is no way we can say it's a war between the USA and Russia.

i am also thinking about that and i know that these people were not born evil maybe they are actually fighting for something whether it is their independence from the international organization or some thing that they want to retrieve and they are introduced to the people by someone with hidden agenda that these groups are trying to terrorize or invade the whole world but this isn't the reality .

Nuking them is not a serious option. First of all, none of the super-powers (and even India and Pakistan) want to use nuclear weapons as a first strike. And also, ISIS is using civilians living in areas controlled by them as human shields. If we bomb the cities under ISIS occupation, then far more civilians than terrorists are going to lose their lives.

What I really meant was to really strike them and end their reign of terror. Nuking anyone or anything is overkill and should be banned in the articles of war. A nuclear explosion creates so much devastation on impact as well as after it explodes.
