Don't know if there's a identical thread over here however I want to know why the official site(https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet) don't show blockchain.info as a web wallet option, I believe this wallet is the most used by users so why it's not listed on the site? What's the criterea?

It is not like Blockchain.info's removal from the list of good/secure wallets on Bitcoin.org is permanent.
There were cases that wallets which were preciously removed from that list come back at it after a while - most recent example: Armory.

Indeed but they got removed for two different things . Blockchain.info was removed due to the vulnerabilities It contained while Armory got removed because It was no longer being developed and their website wasn't functional and now goatpig and Achow101 too I guess , are developing it once again.
So If Blockchain wants to get back to the list , they will have to fix their security issues and vulnerabilities first and It looks like It's getting worst since they introduced the new wallet .

Actually blockchain.info have nice and easy to understand user interface and they are client based. Also their web wallets, mobile wallets and browser wallet are easy to use.

As blockchain.info is client side encrypted (https://blockchain.info/wallet/features), i don't think hacker will have any luck on moving users fund out of it. I also use them but not for high amount of bitcoin.

People use it because they are used to it and they don't want to switch until something bad happens to their funds , It's human nature.  Blockchain.info was probably the first online wallet that got first created , with time , people was recommending others to use it because It's easy to use and have a good interface , without forgetting that gambling websites was giving blockchain.info as an option to store their funds .And now It became a habit and no one gives a damn about their security anymore.
Unlike Coinbase and other services , Blockchain.info don't control our private keys and don't have our password stored in their servers but It's hackable , anyone with access to their servers could try to crack the wallet.dat and get some $$ in his hands with no effort as some passwords are weak.

Thanks for info, i was already frighten from blockchain few months ago when they announce that their dns server got changed from their domain registrar account which i don't think can be possible without someone else hacking it.

So paper wallet and hard ware wallet are good choice or what about electrum? I think it doesn't have any server where they store wallet info.

I believe that paper wallets are the most secure way to store bitcoins if you have big amounts and want to hold it for a good time also you can make 1 wallet for every bitcoin for example and have more security.

Paper wallets are easier to get damaged, and won't show if tampered with. The best way is probably with DIY physical bitcoins, with a QR code. Those have holograms which show if tampered with, and stand better against water.

Honestly, green address is the only web wallet with (IMO) that can be considered close to being full featured and close to being free free (as in freedom) at the same time. Consider using it if you're after a good webwallet. Coinbase and Circle are widely used for allowing users to liquidate of buy BTC funds through their platform but they're lacking when it comes to wallet features, and especially Coinbase (perhaps Circle and Xapo too) enforces blacklists for words and addresses so it can't be considered free.

blockchain.info tried to come close to a full featured wallet but it's security was lacking, IMO the fact that it was removed from bitcoin.org is a good thing because it's not a good introduction to bitcoin for newbies.

Just put a plastic over it, make three copies, hold one with you, let the other in your parents home and the third one put on a bank safe box...

Physical coins are fine too, also you can grave in some metal too, there's a lot of options.

Electrum is with no doubt a great choice and servers don't really store anything about the private keys so If you want a wallet to use daily or at least on a weekly basis then Electrum would be the way to go.
If you want to store for long term (and don't use your BTC for years) then Paper wallets are probably the best way. (just make sure to print different backups and store them in different places).

Yeah, it is secure until they decide to froze your account over something you probably didn't  know was against their Terms of Service.
Until you don't have copy of your wallet.dat on your local drive and your private key is encrypted on the server side of the service you are using (so no one beside you can access that),
you can't really say online wallet is truly  secure. Can you achieve that with Coinbase or Xapo?

Coinbase and Xapo are okay for small amounts only.like for micro payments and such. But for storing majority of your bitcoins,that's a big no. That's like asking to get hacked/lose your coins, and you can never feel totally secure since you never know if/when your account gets frozen. That's too much of a hassle.
I used to be okay with blockchain.info, but ever since the new HD wallets, it's too much of a hassle figuring things out and some functions like signing messages with newly generated addresses are even gone.
So, I personally just use mycelium now.

maybe because of its user friendly interface and it's easy to use and it seems most of their users gamblers and most of the transactions are from gambling because other web wallets are not tolerating users that dealing with online gambling. I am also using blockchain.info and I am keeping all my earning from signature campaign to it but i didn't know that blockchain.info is vulnerable.

The reasons why people still use blockchain.info even though its not listed on bitcoin.org, i think due to the blockchain.info is the first wallet they created, we all know that many newbies get in to the bitcoin used blockchain.info for the first time, maybe they are too lazy or feel good enough with it's feature. Or they never try out other wallets so they will never know what is the safest wallet for them, blockhain.info might be safe but if the site  is down, do you still have access to your coins?
