Starting on Nov. 17, merchants at the Passage du Grand Cerf will be the first Parisian marketplace to accept Bitcoin, with 20 shops already preparing for its acceptance. These shops will be added to Paris’s growing list of Bitcoin-accepting shops and will be accepting both fiat and Bitcoin with the help of several Bitcoin groups.

Its great that places are excepting bitcoin as payment,where the disconnect comes is actually transacting. If anyone has gone to a gas station to pick up giftcards or paper receipts toward online payment,you know that the cashiers are the wall. If they do not know how to transact they will make a lame attempt at saying they either do not have that or its down at the moment. So as others will come in and say thats great for bitcoin,I actually would like to see the progress in action.

Not a slag but lot of the time the traction we get is fleeting,when its here today gone tomorrow.

After reading the article I have to say,I like the idea of a bitcoin corridor. People will enter the zone and see it everywhere and may not ask in the first shop but gain the courage to interact in the fourth or fifth store. The atm can get them in the game on the way in or out of the zone,like this concept a lot.

What a great news for bitcoin development and will positively affect price stability if more shops accepted bitcoin.
This kind of progress what we need in every region so bitcoin will be more famous and people get familiar with bitcoin payment.

That is some nice news,I see more and more bitcoin accepting shops opening around the world. Too bad the shops are not popular in some poor countries (bitcoin at all is not popular). In my country, we only have 1 Bitcoin ATM where you can buy and sell Bitcoins, in the capital city, other cities are not even familiar with Bitcoins.

Paris has restaurants, bars, shops, and now a whole gallery(marketplace/mall?)
full of places I could shop with Bitcoin.
Especially when I , cannot find a single physical shop in my area that takes BTC.

However, it seems that it still mostly uses third-party payment services like Bitpay, Bitwage, etc.
Still, it is progress. Can't wait for more.

Paris has a Bitcoin street. Rue de Bitcoin. 
Great news, it's good to see how Bitcoin is more and more accepted, even in such respectable shoping city like Paris. This is great promotion for Bitcoin and the sign that is ready to take the place that reserved.

25 is small number compared to other news which says thousand stores or a tourism city accept bitcoin, but looks like these shops is quite popular
Also, more tourism places accept bitcoin these days, so i think people will hear bitcoin more often and might be curious and do simple research.

25 shops in one city, even one as big as Paris is definitely a good development.
France was always a bit lacking in Bitcoin support, so this is good news for sure.

Wow! this is great news!bitcoin adoptation is now really happening!now, we have heard it is only 20 establishment, but im sure this is just only the beggining. This news is just top of the ice. Bitcoin popularity is surging like anything. It's only a matter of time that all except it. However 25 shops does feel less, but a good start. I do hope this number multiplies sooner. Need more and more shops and countries for Bitcoin.

Again this is a good news to bitcoin community. I was overwhelm of  more news articles about bitcoin is being accepted or more shops are utilizing this payment tool. Another demand on bitcoin, as another market opens.

These are very good news. Given that Paris is a well-known and popular tourist’s destination the idea of French merchants others will follow not only in Europe but also all over the world. This is great news like brazil that has 150 stores are accepting bitcoin now in paris adding 20 stores that can accept bitcoin as payment and i think they are adopting bitcoin in every country i hope that also here in my country that bitcoin will be accepted in some stores even here in central place in my country..
