A few hours ago, with Vircurex exchange offline and PPC just being started up on BTC-E, a bunch of Litecoin trolls (as evidenced by BTC-E chat) pumped up PPC and shorted the crap out of it in attempt to crash it and kill it off. PPC managed to retain it's pre-bubble value after the crash, and ended up actually steadily gaining hours after.

Really sorry to anyone who bought when it was bubbling and lost out. Your best bet is just to hold onto your coins because a lot of trading will happen again when Vircurex comes back online.

Congrats to PPC though, I'm looking forward to the ride that's coming.

For every alt chain I've ever seen the price usually doesn't peak on BTC-e for at least a few days, usually more in the 3-14 day range.

this is a special case.  Vircurex has a lot of PPC in storage.

Yup, I watched as it rose from 0.001 to 0.06 in a matter of 30 minutes to an hour. I was skeptical about it, so once I saw it drop back down to 0.011 I bought it up (thinking it would go back up), ever since then it's been below 0.005 or so.

WTFWTFWTF!!! They were trading PPC at 0.06 while I was asleep? I would have been rich If I sold at these prices, and my coins are not even stuck in Vircurex. Damn, this was the most expensive sleep in my life Cheesy
