You can easily google a Bitcoin profit calculator. I suggest you do so and weigh the risks.
Are you certain you can run the hardware 24/7 until you've reached ROI?
It would likely be more advantageous (profitable) to simply buy $4,000 worth of BTC.

You can try calculate here the earnings of 2 antminer since its 14/ths so the total is 28/ths and i think you can make nearly 1 btc per month. and it takes 8 months to cover your capital buying the hardware.. and you have 4 months before a year to make a profit..

It'll take around 290 days to make tour money back if difficulty holds, which it probably won't . Not a bad investment, but make sure you take good care of the miners and don't break them.

Where on earth are you living and you have free electricity. (Maybe stolen, like pluggin into another person's socket?)
Well, removing one of the main expenses of mining will make your mining much much more profitable than paying for your own electricity.

Still with thia difficulty and with this antminer s9 it's possible to have good roi, maybe you will achive ROI 140% and that's good. In 8-9 month your investedmoney will be back but also remember that if you aren't a free person or don't have someone to care your antminers than it don't worth because it needs good cooling system, sometimes antminer has problems and also it's very noisy but bitmain has antminer R4 for home mining which is less noisy.

No one has free electricity. If you think you have free electricity, check your contract. There is always a fair-use statement. A S9 can easily reach 10$ a day, so for 2, that is 600$ a month. It can be easily spotted on an energy bill. With the noise they make, they can easily be found in a building.

Your investment is very profitable. Electricity is main factors for maintenance cost, if you can get for free electricity not more 8 months you investment to buy 2 Antminer S9.

They are connecting electricity cable in "stealth" mode to the network. So here the contract is not needed But need to hide this connection really good in case of Inspector's visit.

You're probably right, the electricity he is using for free is not actually free. It's either stolen or someone else is paying for it (technically can also be called as stolen). This would really make this profitable, although it would be risky on his part. Well, the law on risk demands that the higher the risk the higher the potential return. The risk involved here is getting convicted for stealing electricity.

The S9 is not the sturdy workhorse that S7 was. Be prepared that one of them break down during the first few months. And are you prepared for the noise?

That is exactly what I am afraid off. That it breaks down before break even. Or after, that is worse too. I stick to trading I guess.
