Last week I noticed that there are many users posting multiple opinions and spamming in threads. These users are often found in discussion threads mainly.

Today I found this user :- ekoice posts his first opinion here

Definitely, price is going to cross $1000 by the end of  december 2016 as we could see the price raising in a speed pace.If Bitfinex had not occured, we would have crossed $1000 by this time.

And then after some days he posts again but copies some parts of his earlier post and pasted it

By last of this year 2016, we would definitely cross $1000.If Bitfinex had not already happened, by this time we would have crossed $1000.But Bitcoin has gained recovery from the effect of that incident.

He is not the only one and there are many more. There might be users posting multiple opinions and spamming in order to get payout from signature campaign.

I will not end this thread here but will continue to search more like them and report it here.

Also I want to put up my suggestion that discussion threads should be automatically locked after certain no.  of replies or a timeframe like say 3 months or so.

At this point, the first step is to report him to the  campaign manager and request his removal from the campaign. With policies getting stronger,we will soon see a death of such posters.Though not sure if this calls for a perma-ban.

Here goes another one : krishna1 posts here his first opinion

bitcoin is more like a sack of complexity to one who do not understand it but if poor contries do understand it and can implement some inoviate ideas depending their situations then yes it will be very helpfull for them and it can make them some self dependent life

Archived link: http://archive.is/AIJor

And then posts again in same thread here: -

bitcoin can help poor countrys but only as a support mot as a god. its just a kind of money all it can do is increase the marketing and financial activity in the country and if used it worngly then it will increase the negetive effects so ve careful with that

Though not sure if this calls for a perma-ban.

Thats what I am unsure also. Hope hilariousandco clears it outs. Though even if he hasn't copy/pasted but such users should be perma-banned without a doubt.

Discussion threads are filled with many crappy posts because of them.

ashiqdey posts 2 posts back to back

Actually Nothing will happen, most likely the most people will just stay holding the bitcoin and Erik probably continue the use. And I think people will not even care about it how do they want to find out you are using it because it's Anonymous and people could use but government couldn't find or track the user

I think there will be economic unstablity among the bitcoin user because many bitcoin user depends high on bitcoin for pocket money or to manage family and there are million and billions of money invested in infrastructure and finally user and miner have to give up all the system and switch to another currency or something else

requester
posts first opinion here

In my view these are just supposition and not reality is there in these new. Actually bitcoin ban which I think is impossible because it is spread across the world, then we will certainly join another crypto currency which exists from earlier and if governmet bans that too then we will switch to new cryptocurrency.

and then posts another post on the same page

Awww, it's definitely hypocritical because no one can track who is using bitcoin. Once it is announced that bitcoin should not be used then all stores and website will remove bitcoin acceptance payment gateway but  well there Erik be still 1000s of sources where we could use bitcoin. So there is nothing to fear.

I'm sure you will find shit lods of account doing the same in Bitcoin Discussion Section. The problem is,it becomes very difficult for mods to go through post history of multiple accounts. The worst part is,you can find single user posting multiple times in the same thread without valid inputs or quotes.Call it sig spamming.

croutonhexagon posts first post here

Start trading with bitcoin and you will see your money growth in few fold within 2 3 years. Also you can  try gambling if you could take risk. If you know any trusted investment company you can invest in that company. But maximum investment sites are scam and mostly meant for money laundering. Best is to use bitcoin for buying online goods with ease unlike banking system.

and second post on the same page

Ask the question yourself. What to do with money? Obviously no money no honey, money is everything so it's same with bitcoin. Bitcoin is also money so you could do anything as you want. May be you could buy goods online, pay bill through bitcoin you could put your bitcoin in investment sites to make profit, you could also lent your bitcoin to others to make some handsome amount of money.

I dont think the current policy is to impose a ban on these posters.
I reported a thread where users were posting their opinions 5-6 times here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1378965.msg14026531#msg14026531
The thread was locked by the mods, but those posting multiple times were not banned.

It certainly is,if they're in a paid signature campaign. Not directly reflected but of course mods have 0 tolerence towards shit posting. (might wanna read the new stickie in the services section)

While posting opinions multiple times is not wrong,it really depends on the post quality that determines if it's worth the tem-ban.In your case, maybe it wasn't.

Well, the post quality did certainly fall in the 'ban-able' category for those users. I think under the current stricter guidelines, those users will be banned. But at that point, they did get away.
