The 7850s are both the same card @ 1125/1525
using these settings

5LTC to anyone that gives me information that corrects the problem!

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Change intensity down to 11.

Downgrade from catalyst 13.1 to 12.8.

12.8 causes cgminer to crash instantly, thanks for the reply

after messing with it for a while i finally got it working, i cant really say what fixed it but did a lot of driver cleaning and afterburner uninstalling/reinstalling.

working with 13.3 b3 drivers and the latest stable afterburner.  I can't adjust the 7850s voltage with afterburner though.

No two cards are identical.  All cards have their own optimizations and those do change over time as well.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.

they should get the same or very close to the same hashrate when they are on the same clocks, and they now do
lots of stales - not using stratum at the moment

I changed back to stratum and the problem is back, I reverted to getwork and the problem persists.

Also, anyone have any thoughts on the memory usage on 7970 #2 ?

Try 24576 6144 for thread concurrency. Or 16384 or slightly below. (Sorry i misread that you had problems with your 7970 not 7850 ^^)

Quote
7xxx series cards
Use reaper or cgminer versions 2.11.3 and up (see update below).  Set thread_concurrency to somewhere slightly below 64 * bus_width_of_card_in_bits.  So, for a 7950, that would be 64 * 384 = 24576; ideal values are 21712 or 24000.  Find your bus width here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Islands_(GPU_family)

To find the optimum thread_concurrency for your card, you will need to search above and below this estimate ideal value and see what is fastest.

Also try without shaders, the miner should recognize the optimal number by itself. And I'd set intensity to 18-20 when you're not using the desktop. At least set it to this on the secondary card not used for the desktop.

And i'd try guiminer's standard settings for the gpu, they should give good results.

Maybe some clues for you.  Grin

gonna leave it there for now, i changed the intensity from 13 to 12 and that seemed to correct it.  im using 8192 tc on all cards.
