Hi all,

I am a new member, and I don't see the "reply" option on any topic.
Is it a bug? or something I am missing??? Please help. Thanks!

Have you read the forum rules?
Newbies are not allowed to post in areas other than the Newbies section for a set period
Although it does intrest me that you could make a Thread in the "local other" section

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857670.0 GAWminers and associated things are not to be trusted, Especially the "mineral" exchange

This is exactly why - read the forum rules, get a feel for the place works, don't be an idiot etc

Also there is a request thread for getting whitelisted right in straight away - go find it.

Thanks for the answers, I figured it out at the end.

It would be nice if for newbies there is some warning about that directly on top of the page or so, and not just mentioned in the rules, which I missed, and might happen to anybody.

The rules are fine, but the fact they are hidden is not. May be it is a part of initiation process -- how to find this information. But would it really discourage people who want to misuse this medium?

Hidden? Right at the top of the forum. But yes, no-one sees them, maybe they are hidden  Grin

EULA check box? Are you serious who reads those nowadays? But yeah yeah I get it now, my fault.

But no reason the newbie rules shouldn't be on the Help pages, is there?

Thanks! I found this eventually. But I really suggest this needs to be more conspicuous after the new users sign up.
