HELP ! CANNOT RESTORE ELECTRUM WALLET

Hi everyone,

I checked many threads but could not find the answer i am looking for.
So I lost my the password of my electrum wallet, but i still have the 12 word seed.
I use the last version of mac osx.

Online the guide to restore the wallet says that i can do it via the file command on the wallet,
but I don't any file command on my wallet.

Can someone please help me

Open up electrum. Go to File > New/Restore. Give the wallet a name and Click OK. Then choose the option for "Restore a wallet" and just follow the rest of the instructions in the wizard.

I just have the following options : history/send/receive/contacts/console

Those are tabs. I am talking about the menus at the top of your screen where you usually find the File menu. Make sure the Electrum is the active window (click on it) and look at the very top of your screen on the upper left hand side. The File menu is where you want to go.
