Yes, they are "funded" with seats.  All Minted Seats are attached to seats.  It is what they are.

It certainly appears to have been submerged in both salt water & fresh water, but photonresearch would have to confirm.  I'm not sure if they will continue to tarnish inside their airtites once handled or not, but I don't think it will have any effect on the engraved keys.  The airtites on these coins are scratched up pretty good too.  I thought about replacing them with fresh ones, but I think the worn look is appropriate for these coins.  The kind of buyer that wants a perfect coin and clean airtite wouldn't be right for this auction and should purchase through retail channels.  This auction is for someone who wants to have coins with a story to tell.
