Pretty funny to watch, but I'm guessing she probably knew Bitcoin from one of her grandkids or something like that.
Or I could be mistaken and she might just be pretty tech-savvy herself. Anyway, it's always cool to see older people who are keeping up with technology.

A funny video first of all. And it is common here to know about Bitcoin in my community. We pay and use Bitcoins in many places like regular currency. But yes in some countries even normal people haven't yet heard of it.

In my country, even young adults and teenagers have never heard of bitcoins so there is no one to explain to grandma anyway.

It nice and fun to watch such video, I remembered someone in tv a grandma who was an addict to dota. It just explains that old people are not old enough to operate computer and surf the web. Well if old people can do bitcoin we younger generations must also be challenged. Older generations are models that we must not stop learning even if we are old.

We do learn things from them since they are older and experienced enough especially on old ways but now in future generations we could say they cant able to comprehend since they only knew the traditional ways that why im quiet shocked and get glad regarding on this news on which a grandma could able to engage into bitcoin which means it isnt really hard to learn bitcoin all.

Please ignore the present and past stand of bitcoin in your country.

You must start thinking about what changes you could bring. It is a very big responsibility for every bitcoiner to spread bitcoins to their near and dear. If we start introducing bitcoin to our friends and family members, it will slowly spread out to each and every people regardless of their age.

Well I am a great aunty now and could easily be in the Grandma bracket now so yes many of us golden oldies are now involved more heavily into Bitcoin and I think of Bitcoin as a great long term asset also.. My coin portfolio stands at half a btc and my assets also at around 1 btc, but got a long way to go..  Smiley Smiley

Well, that would be real action but i guess most of them will don't even care what you're talking about unless you're inserting such an attractive things that could make impressed such as gaining profit out of it or even free money. if you don't, sorry to say but they will only use what they have and that's such ironic nowaday to not exploring everything furthermore

Ahhaha, it's not a bad thing friends. I think if grandma knew bitcoin and all media on the internet, then it will affect or give a positive added value for all members of the family of grandma. Because I think it's all going to foster curiosity in seeing or doing something new and something eventually will become mutually reinforcing relationship chain and eventually everything will follow in the footsteps of grandma

So I was watching pranks last night and came accross MagicRahat channel.
He was pranking to pay apple pay with a real apple here  https://youtu.be/-BP6880VzfM
then there's this grandma said, you know about bitcoin? It's untraceable.

Just gonna leave it here to share. There is also a couple of it bein mentioned in other videos.
Imo it kinda help to make people aware of it.

lmao. I don't have any idea what will happen if he actually do it in public but this is ridiculous those people are amazed with what he just do Grin this is such a nice prank but what I am most amazed about is that there's a old woman asked him if he knew about bitcoin and said it's untraceable Grin i didn't expect that there will be a old person who already knew about bitcoin it's amazing.

I also heard about that joke couple days ago. That was very funny, but the most fun was when granny start to talk about bitcoin. I knew that different aged people use bitcoin and I thought mostly it's people between 20 and 30 years. But a granny!? Haha Grin

Yeah, we find that weird bit some older people love new stuff and technologies, including Bitcoin. Why not, that is good, they have to be in line with modern era. Recently I saw two grandmas around 70 years old in a plane, both having iphones 6 and asking the crew if the wifi is available. That was funny but at the same time I was glad to see they are not afraid of new stuff.

Wow, I can't imagine how it would be like to have grandma talking about bitcoin or new technology like it is no big deal Grin In my place even young people like me don't know about the existence of bitcoin or don't have a full picture of bitcoin. And if they know about bitcoin, they will eventually hate it because of the false news of bitcoin in my place Cry

That's was pretty fun. I think the indian guy doesn't know what bitcoin is or at least that is how i interpreted it. But the grandma knew about bitcoin definitely when she mentioned it's untraceable, pretty surprising. It was hilarious when she said "and now there are apples". I hope that in the future we can see more and more people mentioning bitcoin randomly.

So how old is the "older generation"? I'm 74, and I've just hit middle age, when do I join this older generation? Smiley
My father is over 80 and I've given up on trying to teach him how to operate Windows. Bitcoin is completely beyond his cognitive abilities.
Glad to see there are mentally young old timers with us, keep it up mate!

maybe its the ages is over than 70 years, we need to teach with slowly as they can't understand if we teach with fast, i think their action become to slow to get the information that come to them but its not for all old people, sometimes the old people can understand with fast too. but its good for grandma that she can understand about bitcoin.

Part of my grandparents know about Bitcoin too. It took a while and many questions for them to understand how it exactly works, but now they know what Bitcoin is and that's awesome. However, it's bad that they do not trust it Sad you know, the elders usually like real things, the ones that you can touch and hold in your hand, not numbers on a screen.

Old people are least interested in bitcoins and other emerging technologies. They do not have much interest in the upcoming technologies and also they do not have the mindset to absorb such innovations.
They are happy to stick with their old ideas and that perhaps best for them.
