I don't get what's wrong with people. Why do you have to snip a quote in a way to make it look and mean like entirely something else than what it was written as??
I did not include Toptal in "Places to avoid"..
I included it in "
Premium place where you are guaranteed to find an expert"
He mentioned that Toptal is the most underrated place for finding devs, so I guess he quoted it that way in purpose.
@OP I would probably look for the people with experience. If you will be looking here at BCT, you can check how trusted they were on their previous works and you could use escrow (secure for both you and worker). Cancelling in last minute is not an attitude of a trusted and professional worker imo, it would happen maybe if you've missed to explain how it really works and/or emergency purposes.
