How does it work?

this coin has been the craziest so far with the 7BTC price that i can see on the charts and the price has been falling like crazy ever since. and there is no end to it many said it will stop on 0.2 and then it continued down and still does and it will until completely dead.

and surely the other part is also obvious, there is always a couple of these coins each year that come in with a bang and die.

I agree with you theres no point on keeping speculating on zcash price because its  clear already that this coins will surely drop to the lowest and i dont think its ideal to invest now because possibilities to lower its price is high.Miners will surely dump always their coins just for gaining bitcoins. If no one will use then its  just an altcoin which really turns into dead coin same as you mentioned.

it is usually not much about the distribution and/or inflation rates of the altcoins it is always about how much they can get pumped and how much new coins are dumped on the market each day. and this coin is the new ethereum in sense of pump and dump so far but with a much faster speed of dying.

The miners have to dump their coins as they have bills to pay. The price of the coin is not high enough, so they have to sell most coins.
