When I check http://127.0.0.1:9332/ in my browser it gives the following info:

Quote
Version: 11.2

Pool rate: 421GH/s (17% DOA+orphan) Share difficulty: 704

Node uptime: 0.073 days Peers: 6 out, 0 in

Local rate: 7.16MH/s (0.0% DOA) Expected time to share: 117 hours

Shares: 0 total (0 orphaned, 0 dead) Efficiency: Huh

Payout if a block were found NOW: 0 BTC to 16KbRrXcnFyuBysiLtQ2mCBfzDxACY3CFM. Expected after mining for 24 hours: 0.000422 BTC per block.

Current block value: 25.0882 BTC Expected time to block: 21.7 hours

That doesn't look too good, does it? Any idea what I can do to improve anything?

Read the line saying "local rate" - your hash rate sucks - and so you're only predicted to get about one share every 5 days.  You can either live with that, or improve your hardware.  What are you mining with?

Thanks for the response. I'm using cgminer on an ASUS K55V laptop with i5 2.50Ghz CPU and GEFORCE 610M 2GB. This isn't good enough for decent mining?

Also, my cgminer looks like this:

What does "Stratum from pool 0 requested work restart" mean?

Thanks in advance, total noob here.

Not even close.

You will most likely damage laptops if you mine on them anyway. None of them are designed to cool their cards particularly efficiently.

Alright, thanks for the feedback. I guess I'll give up on mining then. (lol @ the fact I was considering solo mining earlier today)
