I see some people selling dollars to paypal for BTC on BITMIT. I'd like to do the same to be able to purchase some BTC using my paypal. I guess the bitmit escrow/reputation balances the risk of getting a paypal deposit.

What would be the risks of doing this, offering people to deposit paypal for their BTC?

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I would still be worried about PayPal locking my account if I were you. I don't know for sure though.
ACCOUNT RECOVERED 4/27/2020. Account was previously hacked sometime in 2017. Posts between 12/31/2016 and 4/27/2020 are NOT LEGITIMATE.
