Litecoin crashing 70% right now!

LiteCoin rallied up from 0,50$ to 6$ on speculations that MtGox will start trading LiteCoin.
Now it is crashing and is trading around 2$, LTC/BTC is down from around 0,040 to 0,015 now (down over 60%).
If and when BitCoin goes down to 30-50$, LTC/BTC will probably be around 0,005 which implies LTC/USD of 0,15-0,25$.

My advice to anyone mining alt-coins right now: sell for fiat, or sell for bitcoin at least if you dont want fiat.

The LTC price was unsustainable, given that MtGox hasn't integrated it, and unlikely to do that for awhile. The price was built on speculation.

That doesn't change the fact that LTC is the 2nd highest valued cryptocurrency, and (still) leading other alts by a healthy margin.

I don't think the BTC price is a bubble. We've had weeks since the price began to rise, and even if it did drop to $50, would still be a rather healthy ecosystem. Margins on electricity will still allow most miners (at least in the US and China) to continue to have a decent hashrate.

If this dip scares you, you shouldn't be discussing currency.

i definitely think its a good time to buy litecoin. We needed a correction but litecoin should still be considered more valuable than before the gox news.

if you are a holder trying to sell now for this shitty price than let me tell you that you will regret it so much that you are gonna cry later just like the people before you who sold at 0.5 $ cried when LTC hitted 6$, i give you my word that it gonna hit 10 $ in few weeks.

than if you are a buyer trying to buy LTC and can't decide is it the right time or not or maybe trying to wait untill it gets less than 2$ you will gonna have so much time to regret and cry about it later.

I just wish i had some more money or BTC to threw it into LTC , i am so sad this moment, I've been looking to this price the hole morning and it just make me sad and angry that i can't take advantage of it .

I sold at around $3.50. I couldn't take the downward spiral any longer.

Wild ride LTC took us on this past week. After the mass exodus I see it leveling off at around the $2-$3 range.
