It depends on what the price of Bitcoin is now vs what the price of Bitcoin will be at the time of your retirement. Also it would depend on the average salary in different countries in the world. What would seem enough for you to retire comfortably might not be enough for me to lead a normal lifestyle in my country for example. I think 100 BTC is the bare minimum for Europe because the cost of living is high. Bitcoin has so many variables that I would just choose a solid pension fund and save Bitcoins every month from my salary as I go on the side. It's a win-win situation.

Since I am living on that country which is quite fair to consider for the cost of living. 100 bitcoin will be not just enough for an individual who has a family to support even he is already in retirement. But if the price of bitcoin will reach $10,000 but I don't know if we are able to make that amount of bitcoins before retirement. And for the average age and salary of newbie I guess if we will convert it to bitcoin today 1 bitcoin is just enough for a monthly wage.

25+ BTC is probably the ballpark for what you're going to need to have under your name if you want to retire with it and have it be a sizeable sum. More practically you're probably looking at something over 100 Bitcoin if you retire around 45 and you want to live off of your Bitcoin alone for the rest of that time, although you'll also have a low quality of living, assuming that you go off of current prices.

With that 45 bitcoin on the day of your retirement will be just a good capital for investment that can sustain you for the rest of your life surviving and living not that too elegant. But if you want to be elegantly living, maybe hundred to thousand bitcoins is the right quantity for sustaining your life and as well as your family without any proper investment but just pure expenditure.

i think 25 bitcoin is enough for your life and if you are not spend too much for buying all the product you want. and if you have simple living and not to follow the hot trends then i think you can pension and retirement with your bitcoin. because if we just follow the hot trends and not make saving then how many bitcoin you have in your wallet should be fast to be empty and i am sure that you don't want this is happen.

You have no idea how fast the world move, in the future the our expenses will be bigger and we can only be satisfied with 25BTC if by the time bitcoin's price will also increase.

25 btc is only a small capital. Yes the price of 1 btc is high but i think this is not enough for a retirement. 75 btc will do and that 75 byc should be use wisely. This enouhh amount of money can help to put a business that will help you to sustain your daily needs in life. Invest on something profitable and save for emergency purpose. I think if your business succeed, you can also the trend and have a peaceful life in your retirement.

I would have to assume at least 100 bitcoins if they stayed around the same price or similar to today (within 2-5x the price). The problem is you never know what they'll be worth so obviously  not saving for retirement only with bitcoins. Also I don't get any tax breaks for owning bitcoins  Tongue so that's always an issue too.

Depends what your ways to earn bitcoin itself + how much you spend bitcoin / months. bitcoin price itself need considered too, increased price = hard to earn it, let's assume earn bitcoin through selling service which now worth 10$ in 0.06 bitcoin, then if the price rise your bitcoin amount will reduced, unless using bitcoin fixed rate(i think it will make hard to get a project).

25 BTC good enough to used as retirement, personally i will using as much as i can earn bitcoin for retirement, when i have a project which i got paid using fiat.
