Long time lurker here. Registered to post about this because I need help.

I tried to withdraw my bitcoins from Coinbase to my local wallet on the night of April 1st, and the transaction has been stuck pending ever since. Looking at Coinbase's 'Advanced Details', I see that the transaction has not yet been placed in a block.

I've tried emailing support[at]coinbase.com multiple times, as well as tweeting at Coinbase, Brian Armstrong, and Fred Ehrsam all with no response. I know Brian has an account on this forum (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=43295), but I can't message him since I just registered.

Are other people having this problem? Can someone help me try to get a hold of Coinbase to resolve this? Coinbase, please help me with support case #7676!

Edit: Cross-posted to http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1btdg9/help_coinbase_wont_let_me_withdraw_my_bitcoins/

Edit 2: I can confirm that Fred Ehrsam has resolved the issue. See reddit post linked above.

This happens all the time on Coinbase, but it's nothing to worry about. It will be placed in a block eventually. If not, they will revert it and you'll have your balance back. They have info about it in their 'help' section.

Link to the info you are referring to?

Only pages I see are:
http://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/593836-why-does-my-transaction-show-pending-
http://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/1051063-pending-transactions
Neither of which seem to shed any light on my issue.

Do you mean you sold them and sent the funds back to your bank account? Or you sent your BTC's to your own wallet on your PC?

I'm trying to sent my bitcoins from Coinbase to my local wallet. Edited the original post to explicitly say that.

Yeah, that can sometimes take a while. Coinbase is a relatively new company and still is ironing out some kinks. They are good guys though, they're not going to lose or steal your bitcoins. If for some reason it never gets sent then they'll revert your balance back to what it was. 6 days is a lot so that might happen, but you're not going to lose your coins.

Have you guys had this same experience? For how long has a transaction stayed Pending? It'd be good to get some data on how long people have had to wait.

I messaged lunar725 who had the same problem (http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1bj1lt/how_to_grab_coinbases_attention/) and still hasn't been able to get his coins out since March 26th!
