None of modern websites have file-based database. I don't understand why 3gb wouldn't be enough ? i got 2gb vps with laravel installation and working just fine

You are wrong... It say 3GB STORAGE as mobnepal stated up there, anyway you can visit their webiste and it say 3gb of storage. I agree with you guys it's not much but definitely enough for one website in order for it to operate normally

I agree RAM is most important, but if you are trying to host a node for any blockchain or a decent sized database, I don't think 3gb HD is enough

In order to get decent sized database you need to have a lot of users. Let's be real, anyone with a lot of users is going to go to DigitalOcean or some provider like that. Your app must be very specific type if you are required to run whole node, because most of the important stuff you can manage with API. I think OP realize that no one with 500k users is going to use his host (just say), i don't say it's bad, it's good for small applications and develpment

True, digital ocean is like $2 a month for a much better VPS.

This news is huge.

I don't want to discuss prices or specific hosting plans. What is interesting here, and most people don't here seem to notice, is fact that Webhost Centre is a huge company.
If info on their site is correct they have over 3 millions customers, that is actually great number in this business, and they are now supporting bitcoin payments.

Obviously plans seem cheap but looking at their specification like 3GB storage it will be hard if you like to host bigger files. I am using one of the host listed here http://roadtoblogging.com/bitcoin-web-hosting/ , i don't like to hijack this thread but its always better to compare plans between different hosting providers.

Can you give me the link to the hosting site through which you are hosting your site in so cheap rates as i also wanted to host some of my work online as the price is high i was not able to host it.

And i have checked the OP site packages they are really very costly then what in my country fiat currency are offering are lesser then the OP offer.

yes there a lot of hosting site that can beat your price and accept bitcoin maybe offer a 6 or 12 months option at a reduced price. that what will get you more business as $42.50 is a bit high when you can get same specs at namecheap for a quarter of that price and they accept bitcoins
