UK will censor online porn that depicts 'non-conventional' sex actshttps://www.neowin.net/news/uk-will-censor-porn-that-depicts-non-conventional-sex-actsWOW ..just WOW ..the UK these days has been getting fucked up with laws of all kinds i see. I feel sorry for the people there in these modern times. I think if people are adults and then want to get off on Japanese puke videos or 2girls1cup etc then who cares.. let 'em. People we are facing a world of extreme censorship and we're going to have to fight back. Our rights are being routinely stripped ! I think the internet should be left alone. I don't see why the whole thing needs to be Policed for various reasons. It should be open and free and lawless. Have a problem with a site then go after the site.. don't ban the web in response LOL

These are so arbitrary they they’ve even led to bizarre norms in the adult video business, where there’s a “four-finger rule”, referring to the maximum number of fingers that censors will allow to be inserted into an orifice for sexual stimulation. One does indeed have to wonder what the damage to an adult’s psyche is when that fifth finger is seen to be inserted.

In the era of the Internet do something completely restrict. But with the promotion to fight can and should be.

Hmmm.. is 5 toes allowed ?
I guess it's the "Think of the children" crap again. Well don't screw up the web.. look after your kids. The internet is not a kids baby sitter.
Further more these restrictions will not stop kids from getting what they want. When i was a kid i still got my hands on porn even though i was underage.

I don't see the point in banning unusual porn unless it contain children or unsimulated rape. How will they even enforce it? If scat porn cannot be hosted in the UK then they can simply host themselves in other parts of Europe.

At least when your ISP is recording every single website you visit, so that a multitude of government agencies can check up on your browsing history, there won't be anything too incriminating. That's some decidedly Orwellian government interventions we're getting lately. I shudder to think where it might end. I'm also pretty sure the MPs passing the law will find a way to make sure it doesn't apply to the "ruling class". One rule for them, another for the rest of us plebs.

What's the difference what kind of porn? Even with children, even with the animals it is still a perversion. But once it's there it means there is demand for it, and therefore will be offered. The fight against this phenomenon lies not in prohibition, but education.

Not sure i have thought of all the angles but i tend to think i support an open free internet. But lets say there is pedo porn on some web site. Should we ban that type of porn content ? I am not so sure.. I am not saying i support that but i think you need to go after that content creators etc.
For example when it comes to online file sharing.. We get govt's trying to ban Torrents and the sites that have links.. Well if the content in question is illegal then go after the person with the content ..not the site offering links.
Google offers all kids of crap deemed illegal. Are they banned ?
Well they have a DMCA safe harbor system right ? Well so did KickAssTorrents.
Which Coinbase helped to rat the owner out and get him arrested.
I see the violation of freedom in the name of laziness. Rather than going after the culprit they simply want to ban the methods etc. Use masks to rob banks ? Well they will try and ban masks. Instead of trying to catch the damn robbers LOL
Freedom has to have a dark side.. it comes with the territory. I accept this. Should snuff films be banned online ? Well if you let them post them it would be easier to arrest the guys LOL
It's simple you don't strip away all of humanities freedom & rights online because of some people abusing the freedoms. You simply go after the abusers !

I'm not sure that ban some porn site or movie will lead to the fact that it will stop watching. On the contrary it stirs interest in him. Forbidden fruit is sweet! Such methods do not work.

I don't know why the government is wasting so much resources in preventing people from watching porn. The last time I checked, violent crime was on the rise in the United Kingdom. They should do more to fight violent crime, rather than spying on people who watch porn.

UK for me has always been a model of democracy in the world. Why go to such limits? Especially in this age of the Internet it came to nothing lead. Only fuels the interest in this video.

when it comes to the internet, most governments seem to be about as clued up as your grandpa. they'll spend years passing laws that can be routed around in about thirty seconds by anyone with a little curiosity and determination.

Because once everyone is a felon, it's up to you who you pick and choose to pull into the police station. That way you can just go after the undesirables, the trouble makers. The ones that voted for the opposite political party, and other important perversions.

I strongly suspect that this was done as a result of the pressure from the religious organizations (both Christian and Muslim). In some of the Asian countries, there are bizarre censorship rules as a result of the church interference on personal freedom. In South Korea, they have closed down hundreds of thousands of porn websites. And the situation in Japan is just insane. The following picture sums it up.

It may have always painted itself in the guise of a democracy, but I'm not convinced it has always been one. Each and every time the tories are voted into power, they start to dismantle public services and pass increasingly authoritarian laws. Every time they get in, the country slips that little bit further towards all out fascism. The "Snoopers Charter" and this new censorship bill are just the latest in a long line of regressive policies that aim to turn the UK into the next DPRK-esque isolationist little island.

Why ban? No one will find where to take? I remember in my youth there was the magazines and playing cards. Then videos. Even the lack of Internet did not stop to watch porn.
