REQUEST:
Can you add a block counter to the pool's API that holds the running count of blocks found in last 24h. Would love to be able to pull that. Or even a counter that doesn't reset every 24h, just a running total.

how is the payout? I tried mining for 5+ hours and made .13 ltc compared to about 2 ltc on notroll.
It's a PPLNS pool.

It's a PPLNS pool. still, my miners are running at a constant 1,4Mh for a week now on this pool which should give 3.76 LTC/day with current diff. Sunday I made 2.5, monday I almost reached 3.7 and yesterday I made 3.0

Generally, it evens out over time. If you aren't happy with the pool you could always go to another pool and see if you make more. This is by far the best pool out there right now.

Since I started on this pool on april 12th I made 4.8, 3.9, 4.4, 1.0, 3.0, 4.7, 2.7, 1.4, 4.0, 2.5, 3.7, 3.0 = average of 3.25/day (with half of those days with even lower diff and estimated payouts of 4.6LTC/day) summed up I'd say I'm down ~8 LTC in 12 days... that would be frustrating if I was after the money. since I'm mining mostly for fun though I still stick with this pool because the admins seem motivated...

hi, I'm only a small miner and i'm mining in your pool from it's first days becouse I really like it. However looking at recent blocks and my payouts, I have a little question: I received reward for blocks ...340350, 352, 361, 362 but not for 340354? it is between founded blocks and I was hashing continously. I know that pool is PPLNS, but I don't understand how this could affect this.

Major update!!
4/24/13 8:41AM GMT - Block Payout Report Added and Top 15 Now Shows Weighted Shares By Difficulty First of all just want to let everyone know the problems we had over the first half the weekend have been solved, the pool has been massively upgraded and optimized and we have been rock solid for the past 2 days and expect no more downtime. We apologize for the issues we had over the weekend and thank you for sticking it out with us. We massively recoded our backend and the EU and US servers are stable and running in optimal condition. We added a payout per block report to the stats and block page so every use can see what was paid out, this allows for total transparency. Check it out! Every user could already see the estimate for other users so this does not expose any new information that wasnt available before (except now it's not an estimate). We also added a new column to the top 15 shares contributor for the round to show the shares weighted by their difficulty. The rank is now based off the weighted shares as well. This takes variable difficulty into account and gives an accurate picture. If you haven't checked out our site chat yet, be sure to stop in and say hi! We have added an awesome bot that announces blocks, has a ticker, and many other features! See you soon! And as always, thanks for mining with us!

my hashrate is about 4k-5k. i found that some rounds ending in short time(such as 340464,340004,etc) didn't pay me from yesterday .So my earning was Significantly reduced in the past 24 hours. why?

Its simple. Because on those short blocks, the block was solved before you submit even one share. Check the amount of shares they were submitted, its less than 300 shares. 1641 people were mining at that time, the block was solved before everyone submitted their shares!

I've left this pool. After the pool going down, DDoS attacks ruining my share counts, and my payouts being 2/3 of what they should have been (I hash at 3300kh/s, yet was only getting 4 LTC per day on wemineltc.com versus other PPS pools (notroll, ltcmine) where I'd get 7-8 LTC per day) I became very frustrated with the amount of wasted time and electricity. I don't want to have to worry about touching my rigs every few days. The pool operator is a super nice person, and listens to their pool members but I really don't have the patience to continue putting up with road blocks like the ones I experienced here at wemineltc.com. PPLNS should be great but this pool does a poor job at it (as of the time of writing). Good luck OP, Just wanted to share my experiences. I still have 0.6 LTC in my account, seems silly I have to pay 0.1 LTC to get it out but it looks like I'll end up having to do this. I don't know where the rest of my LTC went, but it sure didn't end up in my wallet.

The Payout report we put up today was put for this simple reason: COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY and i challenge every pool operator to do the same. As for the rest of the LTC that you refer to, what you mean? You miss LTC from your wallet? I dont get it :/

ok, this may be the reason however this pool should be PPLNS and I understand PPLNS means that when block is found you will look at last N (don't know the exact number) shares and distribute payouts among miners contributed to them proportionally to their contribution. So also during short round like 10000 shares if N is e.g. 500000 you should recieve your payout even if you didn't have shares in this last 10000 ( http://ltc.kattare.com/about.php) Therefore this means that this pool is rather RBPPS based???

I heard the pool has been RBPPS for the last couple weeks or so. From https://www.wemineltc.com/gettingstarted , down bottom : Our Pool uses RBPPS or Round Based Pay Per Share. What this means is simple, you get paid for the amount of work you did to find the block!
EDIT i just noticed it wasnt changed on forum topic, i changed it just now

EDIT i just noticed it wasnt changed on forum topic, i changed it just now I guess this explains a lot. It still says PPLNS in your signature as well the litecoin pools comparison wiki page. Doesn't this effectively penalize people who are mining with shares at high difficulties because of vardiff? For example, my rigs of 3x 7950s get shares of 512 difficulty that take slightly less than a minute to finish. If the round ends before that minute is up, it effectively means I submitted no shares. On the other hand, if I could manually select a share difficulty of 128 or less, it means that I would have shares submitted every few seconds and get credit for that block. I'm just wondering how this works because after mining for close to 24 hours, I ended up with 2/3 of what I normally get on other pools.
