I don't follow BTCGuild, but for many pools, like Slush's, mining is a back-end operation and continues even tho the Web site might be down. Re Slush's luck, I can't complain.

Read btcguild thread and look up shush's block history (multiple 2-4 hour blocks). Try to do your own homework next time.

Yes. Respect too for the new additions to the server stats - showing the rate of block finding over the last 12, 24 and 48 hours. Good job.

Re: https://www.weminecryptos.com/forum/index.php?/topic/138-52813-things-back-to-normal-on-target-exploit-found-and-fixed/?p=733I was beginning to wonder. First I thought someone somehow got my password, and was sending out small payments, but nothing was showing on the website as far as payments. Next thing was someone redirecting packets from my computer, but that also makes no sense. Thanks for the clarification, the situation has improved, it was getting ridiculous before. looks like they were stealing a rather tidy sum, and I bet this was one of many addresses http://ltc.block-explorer.com/address/LYVLrqSQyrDYN1QqQz2icbsF1rbihSAEmKlots of people explaining it away to "luck" mining issues...etc...shame they are not more dilligent...extra fluoride in the water perhaps.

There is something weird going on today with the pool.
1. I started getting JSON stratum auth pool 0 (null) errors on the US server. Workers names are fine and cases match. EU server has no problem.
2. The total hashrate on the dashboard is showing 4960 kh/s but I only have 4 x 7950s so it should be around 2500 kh/s
3. The worker hashrates and the total hashrate displayed in #1 do not add up. Workers currently show 1049 kh/s & 1311 kh/s.
I think the Hashrate is just a display issue because the round rewards seems around the same as it always is but I don't know what #1 is about.

Something was wrong. My miner couldn't connect and the displayed hash rate on wmltc page was frozen

Yes, certainly something bad and I am not certain that it is fixed. My hash rate on the user stats graph froze at one number that looked like a plausible hash rate. On the user stats report, it was also frozen at a much lower rate and my round estimate tapered down to almost zero. This despite the fact that both of my miners were reporting that they were running, connected and hashing. Of course, because the rigs thought that all was OK, they did not fall over to the other configured servers. I restarted my miners and my reported hash rates on the website look a lot better but the round estimate is still low though I would hope to see it rise. I also note that the reported luck is way way down. It would be good to hear something from the siteops regarding what has been going on.

Start with 24 for the 660, mine for a few blocks to set a baseline, then try 32 and see if your earnings increase. Might go as high as 40, but think you may be pushing what the card can do. 8 is probably the highest for most cpu miners, but I've run a dual Xeon 5680 rig at 32. [Edit] Because of VARDIFF, you'll occasionally pull work at much higher difficulties than your recommended settings, but never lower than your suggested diff, so you don't waste cycles hammering the server.
