Not many projects at this size, are self funding. While the "Internet of Coins" team is run by crypto-enthusiastic engineers, the "Federated Blockchains" project has been the brainchild and playground of Europecoin maintainer Matthias. Now these two organisations have been fusing their efforts together. We met face to face on the Grit-Talks 2016 meeting, at our Europecoin office in Bochum (Germany), to set a path for the future. We are about close to release the first testnet of our "decentralized, permission-less and chain-agnostic service protocol". A network protocol for borderless, cross-chain payment and communication, to share and unify altcoins, apps and services It serves, similar to tcp-ip, as a "network protocol" gateway, that provides a harmonization and communication layer among endpoints and serves "ethereum alike" app and smart-contract capabilities to any connected blockchain/coin or API, without the need of authentification. EVERYTHING IS AN APP so what is "FEDERATED BLOCKCHAINS" (a project of "EUROPECOIN" and "INTERNET of COINS" and partners) WHAT IT IS NOT     its not a Blockchain     its not a form of access-control     its not a coin and nor an asset WHAT IT IS     its a network protocol - (just like TCP/IP)     its a decentralized p2p mesh topology through a gateway (similar to TOR)     permissionless harmonisation of differences among BLOCKCHAIN API endpoints and APPS IT DELIVERS FOLLOWING FEATURES   -  automatic generation of APIs to connect ANY ALTCOINS with each other and with BITCOIN - similar, but more borderless like SUPERNET   -  a shared API to connect any APP and service to all those coins and to BITCOIN, - similar to LISK, but borderles among any coin   -  shared smart-contract processor to deliver ETHEREUM alike smartcontract execution BORDETRLESS to ANY connected ALTCOIN and to BITCOIN   -  shared INTERNET-of-THINGS and CROSS -COIN / -APP / -BLOCKCHAIN transaction API for payment processors and exchanges BORDERLESS Federated Blockchains and Europecoin are now starting to organize public communications and we are calling for active coin developer teams, to apply for a first, closed pre alpha test run, that will start in a few month. The code of the project is now about 70% complete and the most important functions are working well. We are trying to get the altcoin community involved early, to give them enough time, to get familiar with the new technology. no,  i try to explain it a bit more simplified:

1) imagine your homenetwork:
if you have a modern private network at home, your computers may be able to share various resources, device and features with each other, like
for example network drive, mp3 devices, printer and so on.

2) now imagine all the great features,that ethereum, lisk and other appcoins have
and which great additional features they will be able to have in future,
as soon, as more apps and service and payment providers will settle on their blockchain

Now ask yourself, why the hell is the APP, Smartcontract, payment feature restricted to just one coin (for now)? We are going to break this barrier.

Our innovation is not a blockchain or a coin.
Its more a network-router, like you are having in your home-network, that is able to provide ethereum-like and lisk-like features,
to any connected altcoin. It serves as an "Internet-of-Coins", to make them able, to transact and to communicate across coin differences, without any border,
without the need of authentification, without the need of permission and without having to add code to their coin.

No, we never launched an ico, never asked for funding, we believe in freedom and
a market, where great things, are not being build, upon other peoples shoulders.
A human, that isn't willing to take risk, for his own vision, may reach the goal,
but will never enjoy the taste of satisfaction
We are believing in a society, that is based on voluntary contribution and on a culture,
that fosters open access for everybody.

Lol, this is my youngest brother and he is talking about the fact, that i am preferring,  to have my coffee with with plenty of sugar.
But in fact, you are not up to date, because i dropped that habit. Given, that i started to feel, unhealthy.

this sitting-and-moving-cryptos-around, can have quite some impact on your health,
if you don't take at least some effort, to adjust your live-style accordingly.
