How to convince my dad that Bitcoin is a trustful currency ?

Bitcoin is a revolutionary innovation and you should take it as an alternate investment. Make it secret and earn it secretly. Bitcoin can be a source of eternal wealth for you. Don't engage your family members to bit coin.

Since we are all not the same i think he has already a problem for his dad that thinking that bitcoin is illegal to use,,  or maybe if his dad has a plan to start a business he can use bitcoin too to start a business online and accept bitcoin.
If he can study it to use it they can start a business online make an gambling casino that neighbors can play and other country that can motivate other people to use..

It is not that hard to convice people bitcoin is not used for bad stuff only. People buy drugs with dollars, at one point I read that on every single 100 dollar bill there was cocaine traces, so does that mean 100$ is used for only illegal stuff? No. So does bitcoin.

Just tell him the history behind it and how it doesn't differ on other fiat currencies, either it is used legally or illegally plus tell him the benefits of using it like the convenience and lower transaction fees compared to other payment methods as well as tell him it's a good investment.

Well, it depends to you  whether you follow your father. For now, it's better to follow your to prevent quarreling with your father.

you are right, it all depends on yourself but I think it's better not disobeying orders or your parents who convince parents themselves. Bitcoin can be used to good activities.

It is really hard to convince someone whose at first place does not even want to hear anything new about, those who dont open their hearts and understanding for innovation abd changes. And it gets harder knowing its his father. If im in the position I will tell him that he made me a better person that I admire him fir supporting his family and I will not do anything that will put his name,our family at sake that Im doing this because its beneficial and i enjoyed it. Dont rush things for sure his dad will eventually accept it soon. Don't give up on convincing your dad knowing you did'nt do anything wrong. Soon it all be fine.

If I were his dad I 'd be sure cry on the part of admiration. And will allow him to use bitcoin as long as he want. Soon everything will really be fine especially now that bitcoin is getting good developments .It really benefited lots of users in rich and even in poor countries. So his Father needs not to worry. Technically speaking fiat is not backed by anything since governments stopped backing their currencies with precious metals, so the only thing backing fiat is the trust we have put behind it and if you are in this forum I suppose you don't have too much confidence in fiat either.

Wrong !!!!!! If your have read the post of OP you will know that his dad has knowledge of Bitcoin, but the only thing that his dad know is that Bitcoin is used by mostly criminals therefore endangering the life of the teenager. What he can do is try to explain more about it and try to clarify things with his dad. Also all governments back there currency every time they print new currency they support it as the President has the power to control the quantity of money.

Here is the story: My dad just found out that I am storing bitcoin and he try to prevent me from using this crypto. This is absolutely the worst situation I have ever had since I started used Bitcoin. I am living in the country which bad guys abuse Bitcoin for illegal activities. Therefore, most of the people here who do not have a proper knowledge about bitcoin believe bitcoin as a stupid, dummy coin or even MLM. My dad is one of them. Any solution to solve this problem ? It is quite hard though because I am still a teenager so it is extremely difficult to persuade him

How about this, in addition to teaching him about bitcoin - including all the good and bad things about it, why not create a wallet for him and give him some amount of bitcoins and let him try it out/play around with bitcoin for himself. Show him how to keep and use bitcoin safely and carefully and maybe he will see first hand for himself that Bitcoin can be trusted and safe if used correctly and smartly. It may encourage him to open his mind and do some more of his own research of bitcoin if he owns some of his own.

The best way to convince him is to show him how the price has increased. Maybe even ask him for a few dollars and then return it to him after a price hike to show him it is something worth investing. If that fails then you'd probably just have to use your bitcoins in secret. Why do you need to convince your dad for bitcoin? Convince him for your girlfriend and keep bitcoin within yourself to get the most out of it. Earn adn hold your bitcoin for few years and buy something expensive for your dad to surprise him. Your dad will understand. You will not have to convince him that time.
