It's all about the game, and how you play it

took a look your odds are better with double tripple 49% of double as opposed to 1/110 in winning

You go the site, click a button and then an extra account number is generated. you transfer 0.01 BTC to that accountnumber and stay on the website. if you are lucky, u'll receive 1BTC ^^. Thats what the site is promising.

Quite smart the way that it generates a unique destination address for each person who visits the website.
So person A gets an unique destination address of e.g. 1BW6kXgUjGrFTqEpyP8LpVEPQDLTkbATZ6 (this is mine, not the games)
If they transfer 0.01 BTC their webbrowser/IP address can proceed to their next web page. If they don't pay within 24 hours, the address is discarded.
Once the pot hits 1.10 BTC the 110th player is rewarded with 1 BTC, the rest being profit and fee for the 110 transactions. So each player has a 1 in 110 chance of wining. I personally wouldn't bet on a horse at those odds. Of course you could bet 55 times and have a 50/50 chance of winning 0.45 BTC.

It is a fun little thing, which could be used as a payment system for ebooks just as readily. You get to read the 1st chapter for free, if you like it send 0.1 BTC to this address and we will let you download the full ebook.

Okay, the odds are better than the lottery, but still I wouldn't bet on it. The technical side is interesting though, as Bert mentioned.

How do we know who the 110 person is? Couldn't jackpotcoin just pay themselfs by watching there comp and win their own pot and no one would know!

I don't know who owns that site, I put in 2, and I really think it needs more thought!

Could be a bit of a scam, not too sure!

It could be a scam, but the fact that they keep 0.10 (less fees) for every 1.10 BTC makes me believe that it isn't. A 10% profit margin on a small gambling toy that probably took a few days to write and debug is fair enough. But you are right there is no way of knowing even if they displayed the block number (after a 110 round game of the transactions).

Yeah Bert, I do Agree!

It's very basic looking, just wondering if it's some sort of IP / Wallet collection site, got me thinking thats all. I did try it, not worried about my security though LOL
