Hey, does anyone on this forum have any experience of being collared by a sportsbook/bookmaker? Did anyone get limited to very small amounts or maybe even
kicked out? I know that standard bookies limit players, but not enough information is available for bitcoin books. Thanks.

I had this problem with my local bookie. He couldn't handle a big bet I was putting, so what he did was to change the odds he was giving for such amount. I don't know in online sports books, though. I think they also do so when you are doing something illegal or against their TOS. Like some sports books don't allow arbitrage, so when they find people doing it they will be lowering your limits or banning you.

I have experienced this with betballer when I was betting on their esports live lines I only stake like 10-30mbtc per bet after a couple of wins the next day they limit my account the max bet that was allowed for me is 0.18mbtc. I was somewhat frustrated at first because they're the only bookie I know who offers live esport during that time.

If I'm not wrong in directbet site you can send your coins for each bet from different address so you will not have this issue by using such sites. They can limit only if you have an account but if you send coins directly for each bet then they can't track you.

I am not talking about creating new accounts. I am talking about the same account, there must be some bookies that do not limit you if you consistently win and allow you to use your normal account, without having other accounts. I have an idea of which books do that, but I want to know the experience of our forum members.

There are a few ways to hide your IP and keep your browsing on the internet private. If you really are a serious gambler in sports, I would assume that your bets are big enough to support paying a monthly fee to avail the services of a VPN. There is also the use of the Tor browser which also helps you in hiding your tracks.

This problem is not existent when you are playing online. If sportsbook will kick you because they think you are doing something against the rules then don't argue with them. Just leave.
Again, if you think you are being limited by your sportsbook, then quit and pick another one, you have plenty to choose from anyway.

We should get a list of this up and share it for everyone for sure. But why does it matter? Can't you just make a new account and deposit new bitcoins? Or are they asking KYC details?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think betballer probably gave you another site to use after you got limited on their main site. From what I seen they are owned by a company that likes to take high bets. Vipsportsbook.eu is the website that takes high bets. Any other experiences?

Why you want to stay with that site again after being limit on your bet? There are still many site that can offer you big payout and never limit your bet. Better move to other site which is give you a freedom to bet eventhough you keep on winning they will always pay you up. Try directbet.eu and nitrogen, these are the best sportbooks afaik and never have any problem with them

Defeats the purpose of betting. Have a win and you get limited - that sucks

Thats right since theres a lots of sports house that you can use in order for you to keep your winning status i dont know what is the real sense of limiting your bets if you can win constinously.

If you want to place a big bet, you don't have to bet it all at one sportsbook. You can spread out your bet over various different sportsbooks in order to stay within betting limits. If you want to get even more complicated, you can use various different accounts at various different sportsbooks.

But the thing is on directbet they don't even have esports on their website. That's the only thing they lack for me to like them despite of their high house edge. For now i'm using ebettle to satisfy my needs for live esports betting.

i can't see any reason for a sportsbook to make a limit mount rules ,
unless it is for bonuses rollover or something similar like that ,
limited to 0.18 mbtc are really a joke , what the benefit doing that for them?
while if they allows you to bet bigger have a potential for them to get profit lol.

This they do to down their risk from the particular player who they think are more wise and know the result of the match, so they dont want to take risk with the gamblers who are wise and winning high. I have also seen lot of sports book not only in bitcoin but also in fiat currency also
