PPC Proposal: A community-funded PPC mining pool

I managed to setup a stratum ppc pool on an amazon instance however I need a web front end to use. Is there any free or cheap stratum web front ends? I can have a new pool setup in a short time.

I don't believe PPC supports stratum yet. And, I'm also looking for a frontend, but I might just roll my own. Not sure yet

check the main ppc thread for thesevens fork of ppc which supports stratum. You might be able to use simplecoin for a frontend with pushpool but it will need some modifying.

Yup - already tried miningfarm only to find that it is way out of date. I've now moved on to exactly what you suggested

Some updates:

I fixed the connectivity issues with pushpool, I had some misconfiguration that needed ironing out

I have the simplecoin frontend up and mostly running (looks ugly but we just need something that works)

I have a bug concerning session cookies I need to fix. As soon as this is taken care of, I can put up the pool for some open testing

My pool is up and working, hop on #ppcoin on freenode and find me to test. After we test it, I'll do a public release and new thread. I am unsure of some of the pool settings I have now, so let's make sure we find broken things before the pool is announced at a mass level

Update: Vanilla Simplecoin is a piece of shit software. Now looking at taking Greedi's fork of LTC-flavored Simplecoin and forking it for PPC
