been tinkering with bitcoin, so i have a few wallets and clients with some minor amounts in each.
I was looking at merging wallets so I exported keys from first wallet and imported them into the second wallet.
the money did not move, but both wallets now have some addresses which are the same.
where does the money arrive if it is send to this duplicate address?
any consequences to deleting addresses?

if i've said (or done) something stupid, please point it out...still learning.

Which wallet do you use?
If using MultiBit it might help to "Reset Blockchain and Transactions" - specify a reset date before the first transaction was made on the account you imported.

Then resetting the blockchain should do the trick.

Which reset-date do you use when resetting?
If the reset-date defaults to different dates for the two wallets, use the earliest date also when resetting the other wallet.
If that doesn't help, I'm out of good ideas, I'm afraid.
