You may also want to include some real tools like hardware wallets to secure your coins.
These tools are simply ways to track certain aspects of the markets and blockchain and are by far not tools everyone should be using imo. They can be useful at times, but not required to successfully use bitcoin.

Simple and useful tools that any bitcoiner should know about and try them. Thank you for reminding us on this. But I also think that for many bitcoin users this will be also something new and something that they have never tried before.

Those are some pretty interesting tools to get some fluff data, but it doesn't really add all that much to the actually useful tools, like wallet extensions or encryptor or whatever else is in relative demand.
I might use the bitcoinity tool to aggregate data from different data aggregators as well, but I don't know if I need to watch the blockchain fill with transactions in my spare time.

The fee page of 21.co is especially well made. It would be great to have such a graphical overview implemented into Bitcoin Core directly. The fee selection bar isn't quite as informative. If you enjoy good old school graphic charts I can only recommend: http://bitcoin.sipa.be/Site shows hash rate and block version (including adoption of BIP's). What are your favorite sites for hash rate distribution (anything other than blockchain.info, static graphics preferred)? Is it possible to easily source the information mentioned in this thread from Bitcoin Core? ya.ya.yo!

These are honestly sites I had no idea where even around, appreciate the links, especially the one relating to fees. Seems to be a aspect I never thought about shopping around to see who is better at keeping costs down. Appreciate the help KenR and Bitcoinnewsmagazine. Will put this on watch so I do not lose the links with my shaky memory.

Wow. Cheers for the valuable links for the bitcoin industry. Another to add which I use is preev.com. It is a good way to see the price of bitcoin live and I think it is correct with the price. Also, it has many currencies so you can compare the price of BTC with your desired currency or even cryptocurrency. I never knew a site like fiat leak existed. very interesting.
