It has to become established first, the value of bitcoin is due to the belief in it, and perhaps the perceived security due to its obvious much wider use for purchasing things.

Just my view, but I feel that 1000 BTE : 0.1 BTC is a fair rate atm.

BTE also easier to mine atm.
