You just have to give the sender your address which starts with a 1 or 3. It is usually found in the receive tab or something similar. Check blocktrail.com and see if the sender has sent your coins.

What wallet client are you using?

I am using Electrum
If you press on the 'Addresses' tab between 'Recieve' and 'Contacts' it will show all addresses associated with your wallet.

The words you wrote down, make sure they are safe and secure. If anything should ever go wrong with the software, they are all you (lets hope its you) need to restore the entire wallet.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

Have fun and keep learning!  Electrum is a great choice for a wallet.  Beware though, if you are using Electrum online and keeping a full wallet online where "malware" could monitor what you are doing its dangerous.  Electrum's encryption is strong enough, but again malware monitoring your keystrokes would not be a good thing.  As you learn you will discover how to "cold wallet" with Electrum or maybe add a hardware wallet, or other options.  Its so much fun to learn.
