This guy in spite of having left me a little irritated, he asked a very important question: - What happens if I don't spend the money within that time frame, do I get another card if I still have a balance?
- What are the fees?
- What about billing address, zip codes and strict validation rules on some merchant integrations?
Oh, and please be a little more professional and upload another video this time shot horizontally.
I also agree that the video is not good and that he should post more information This product will go viral, specially in third world countries. Has also the issue of restricted countries, will these cards be covered in more countries?

I think this is new idea in bitcoin forum, so i think most us have some question such as : 1. Can we trust the company? 2. Is it really anonymous? We don't know if the company keep our transaction details. 3. How about the fees? 4. What happen if we still balance left after 30 minutes and the card is no longer vaild?
Even the demo is quite bad (it's vertical video) and the FAQ page doesn't help much.
1. i couldn't find much about this company, i hope it becomes a good and trusted one in the future. 2. they will surely keep logs even if they say they don't 3. https://shakepay.co/#/faq click on "What are the fees?" 4. i think you change your account and it may stay inside your account with shakepay.co but not sure. Has also the issue of restricted countries, will these cards be covered in more countries?
although they have many countries in their list but it is the worst restriction.

That's good stuff, but even though the card may be anonymous, we still need to get out stuff delivered to our address if we're buying goods online. We can't really be truly anonymous when shopping stuff online that is when it comes to goods. I'd be happy to use the Virtual credit card for online services like netflix and hulu, and probably also couple of region restricted services with it. I'm just hoping it's not restricted in my country like many of you have been mentioning above.

I am not a fan of any browser's extensions. Why do we need it in the first place for Shakepay to work? A simple website would be more than enough. Also that promo tutorial looks to be either targeted to mobile users or done extremely fast. I would love to see official presentation and explanation behind this system.

Unfortunately none has answered the Qs.

I think if we use bitcoin instead of first using it to purchase a fiat virtual card is safest way possible. I mean virtual cards are not accepted when comes to countries and billing addresses. Main focus should be on getting more services to accept bitcoin itself directly.

I saw the demo video last week and got an email on black friday about this new feature but I was worried about what will happen after 30 minute, what if you can't spend the money within 30 minutes, will these money disappear or we have the option to transfer them to another card and us it within another 30 minutes!!

It's an interesting idea, however I would want to wait for someone else to go through ll of it before I consider using it. The demo and everything is convincing enough, but considering that it is a chrome extension it's kind of sketchy as to whether or not it would be able to go and collect more data than they really need to.
I need a bit more trust in the company.

Their innovation is good and I am shocked and glad that there are new innovations towards bitcoin. Upon watching the video, just like the others I am worried about many features, I am not yet willing to try it for now due to several reasons. But maybe if there are good comments, evaluations of other users based on their experience on using such system, then those positive feedback may change my mind to use that system also.

Installed and now uninstalling this thing Shakepay Instant unavailable at the moment, please try again in a few moments Service sound really useful but failed to generate card on my first try. And 1 hour will be really very small time frame, better to have atleast 24 hour valid card or atleast option to choose expiry time before generating card.

To think banks could have done something like this years ago, but it is too much hassles. You just develop a system, where the network create a random address linked to your main account, for every transaction you make. The address is only valid for that transaction. The main account funds that temporary address, and when the transaction is done, the address is empty. I know some banks are working on what they call < Virtual Credit Cards > but I do not know how this compares to this idea. ^? ?^ I will try this, when someone has tested it, and confirmed that it is not a scam. ^smile^

this doesn't seem to be as anonymous as it shows! because this service is following Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and as a result is asking its customers for their name, address and phone number and the other type of account with more balance needs photo identification also!

You are forgetting one thing if you use a product like this: You need a shipping address for most goods you buy. Even if your payment is anonymous, you must still provide the shipping details. There is more to products like this than anonimity. If this really is a one use credit card that you can instantly create, than you don't need a normal credit card anymore (and the associated fees) and simply create a card when you need one. This way, credit card fraud is much less likely.

Unfortunately none has answered the Qs. That's what i think, i had opened some bitcoin debit cards in past but i should verify the cards with my identity before get started with it. Though the concept is good but is that really possible? i mean the question above (billing address, zip code etc?? ) Anyway this is my first time heard this service, well after watching the video i think they might create another professional video, in order to make the service look professional just saying.

This way, credit card fraud is much less likely. if i understood what it does correctly, there is no physical card. you open up an account with the site and then charge it with bitcoin. after that every time you want to purchase something that need VISA card you use your phone instead of a card to pay for it and the site creates you a temporary card to use and discard after.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip. Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

I have tried the Chrome extension but apparently it's unavailable at the moment and I couldn't load any coins. I also registered on their website and they prompted me to provide my legal name, birth date, telephone number and address upon creating my first virtual or physical card. It's not so anonymous any more. Also saw the fees:
Description Frequency Amount (USD) Amount (EUR) Virtual card creation once free* free* Plastic card creation once $ 15.00 € 15.00 Card fee per month $ 1.00 € 1.00 Redemption of unused funds per request $ 10.00 € 10.00 Bitcoin to fiat exchange per transaction 1% 1% Altcoin to fiat exchange per transaction 3% 3% Foreign currency conversion per transaction 3% 3% ATM widthrawal fee per transaction $ 2.50 € 2.25 ATM withdrawal fee in a foreign currency per transaction $ 3.50 € 2.75
Yeah they had a frickin' typo on their list of fees. It's in beta but still I wouldn't trust them with my money.
