Hey guys new to the site/bitcoin world.
I am using a Mac and RPCMiner and get the same error every time I start up the mining process.
Starting RPCminer (CPU)...
--------------------------
Client will start 2 miner threads
Work will be refreshed every 4000 ms
Could not retrieve work from RPC server.
CURL return value = 22
Could not retrieve work from RPC server.

No blocks are being hashed right now.  This can happen if the application is
still starting up, you supplied incorrect parameters, or there is a
communications error connecting to the RPC server.

does anybody know what i am doing wrong or what the problem is? thank you in advance for all your help!!!
Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

Are you solo mining or do you connect to a pool?

If the later:
Are you behind a firewall?

Do you have to create a worker in your pool?
If so did you use the worker username and password to connect?
